  • Electrosurgical Insulation Defect Detector

    MM513 - McGan Technology

McGan Technology’s MM513 electrosurgical insulation defect detector is a compact, hand held, battery operated unit that tests the integrity, such as pinholes, cracks or defects, of the insulation of electrosurgical instrument in order to prevent inadvertent tissue burns which may occur during electrosurgical instrument procedures. The integrity of the insulation of electrosurgical instruments can occur over time, through normal surgical use, through the accidental contact with a sharp instrument or the rubbing of the insulation to the point of abrading it. The insulation failure provides an alternate pathway for the current to leave the instrument’s electrode usually beyond the sight of the surgeon which will result in the unintended tissue burn. Using an electrosurgical test equipment maintenance program can greatly reduce the number of these inadvertent burns during electrosurgical procedures.

  • Embedded Vision

    MVTec Software GmbH

In the industrial environment, especially in digitalized, automated production scenarios, more and more so-called embedded systems are being used. Embedded devices are small, with compact dimensions, highly efficient, and generate little waste heat. Therefore, they are also suitable for limited space conditions. Due to often harsh environmental conditions, they must be particularly robust and resistant to external influences like  massive dust accumulation, strong vibrations, and high humidity or even direct contact with water. Typically, embedded devices are handhelds, smartphones, tablets, vision sensors, smart cameras, smart sensors and single board computers. If the systems have integrated machine vision software, they can be used for a wide range of image processing applications. This is known as embedded vision.

  • Tackiness Tester

    TAC1000 - Rhesca Co., Ltd.

For the measurement of tackiness (instantaneous adhesive strength) of various pastes and adhesive tapes, it is possible to quantitatively evaluate the data, which until now had large errors due to individual differences. First, press the measuring probe, which is controlled (approach speed, pressure force, pressure time, separation speed) against the sample, and measure the adhesive force in the process of separating. Measured data can be processed by a computer. With double temperature control (patented), the sample piece is preheated from the back side with a hot plate and the heated probe penetrates the measurement surface, making it possible to keep the set temperature and the temperature of the test surface to be evaluated constant. Since the pressurization time can be as short as 10msec, it is possible to measure the tackiness caused by momentary contact.

  • 32 Channel Analog Comparator Module

DP-VXI-5106 - Data Patterns Pvt. Ltd.

DP-VXI-5106, is a 32 Channel Analog Comparator Module with 32 channels of differential analog window comparators. Each channel is provided with a window comparator as well as a Level Comparator , software selectable on an independent channel basis. All the 32 channels have been grouped into four groups of 8 channels each. This allows the user to configure the comparator module based on the application to initiate alarm action to exactly meet application requirements. Each Comparator channel can be programmed to generate a VXI bus interrupt or can be masked through software. An Interrupt is generated on an individual channel basis or on a group basis. Front panel outputs of buffered TTL and a 2-CO relay contact is available for every group (4 outputs total each). Also, a common buffered TTL interrupt output and a common 2-CO relay contact is also available at the facia providing extensive flexibility in application engineering. This module is an ideal device for GO / NO-GO testing in Test Stand Automation where important signals must be continuously monitored for system shut down purposes and safety inter-lock implementation. The hardware implementation in the Comparator module provides high-speed throughput and reliable inter-lock implementation. The interrupt out signal can be further wired as trigger signals for pre and post trigger analysis of signal data for post acquisition detailing. Each channel provides a Window Comparator implementation and a Level Comparator implementation. The configuration is programmable through software and the alarm can be generated if the signal is within the window or outside the window. Similarly, a high and low limit can be set and a trigger is generated if the signal exceeds the high limit or drops below the low limit.

  • Wafer Bonder

    AML - OAI

Wafer bonding has found many applications in the field of MST, MEMS and micro engineering. These include the fabrication of pressure sensors, accelerometers, micro-pumps and other fluid handling devices. The process is also used for first-order packaging of silicon microstructures to isolate package-induced stresses. The OAI AML Wafer Bonder facilitates both the alignment and bonding to be performed in-situ, in a high vacuum chamber. For anodic bonding the wafers are loaded cold and heated in the process chamber. For high accuracy alignment the wafers are aligned and brought into contact only after the process temperature has been reached, thus avoiding differential thermal expansion effects which can compromise alignment. The AML Wafer Bonder is excellent for anodic bonding, silicon direct and thermal compression bonding applications. These features enable the bonder to be used with virtually any processing tool.

  • PXI Dual 16x8 Matrix, 2 Pole Switching

Larger matrices may be constructed by Daisy Chaining the common signals from multiple PXI modules. For example, seven PXI modules will form a 224x8 Matrix, a total of 1792 crosspoints in a 7-slot PXI Chassis.

  • ADI Test Fixture

    TA-6500 - Tech-Aid Products

The TA-6500 test fixture combines the features of the OEM's Instrument Servo Tester(T307962), the Pointer/Flag Test Fixture(T307951) and the AD-650/600 Test Panel(T334043) all into one panel to facilitate testing of these Attitude Director Indicator's. The panel switches and adjustment pots are labeled to match the test procedure numbers and the duplicity in marking makes it easier for the technician to understand each function. The UUT interface is through a 96 pin zero insertion force(ZIF) type connector to minimize contact wear. The expanded localizer and nav input pins J2-34/35 are exposed on the panel to facilitate the insertion of a 200 ohm shunt when required. The fixtures rear panel has connectors for the required dual API/Synchro transmitter interface while the panel switches provide the correct routing of each.

  • Magnetic Level Gauge Switches

    ABB Ltd.

ABB's magnetic level gauge switches for point level alarm and/or control can mount to a KM26 magnetic level gauge or an LS Series cage level switch. These switches are completely isolated from the process fluid as they are magnetically activated by a magnet equipped float (KM26) or attraction sleeve (LS Series). The unique magnetic coupling action eliminates seals, diaphragms, springs, and torque tubes common to other level switching alternatives since there is no physical contact with the process fluid. The magnetic coupling also eliminates process connections to the switch; therefore, no isolation valves are required to block off the switch for maintenance. The switch "set point" is easily adjustable without changing any process piping and the result is a more reliable and easier way to maintain level system.
