These high stability variable frequency optical choppers each include a set of chemically blackened photoetched chopping discs. The mini chopper is an excellent choice for applications requiring a compact package. The chopping discs come in a variety of slot apertures and allow operation. Beam diameter is limited to 0.75mm when using the 200-slot disc and 1.0mm when using the 40 slot mini disc. The easy-to-interchange blades are made of non-magnetic, half hard brass and can be used in combination. Chopping frequency is set by adjusting a ten-turn dial or by applying an external DC voltage to the BNC input. Reference output is a TTL pulse and is in-phase with chopping action. The 5 digit led display gives a direct read-out of the chopping frequency. Power: 90-130V or 180-260V; 50/60Hz; 12VA max. Power supply included. Choppers are often used together with lock-in amplifiers.

Generally, the exciting force required for performing a vibration test can be calculated by the product of mass (e.g. test article, jig, table, etc.) and test acceleration. But, when the required exciting force is smaller than the maximum rated exciting force of the vibration test system, the field power supply that the constant current has to be continuously provided to produce the DC magnetic field constitutes a large part of power consumption compared with the drive power for the moving element. BSC have independently developed a fully reconfigurable adaptive filter solution, designed for fast & seamless switching into any of 256 filter states across the 2-18 GHz range. Ideally suited to EW front-end preselection or protection, any combination of bandpass and bandstop states can be selected INTRODUCTION. Each 2 GHz channel can be switched in (bandpass) and out (bandstop) of the signal path with a switching time of less than 100 ns. DC power and 8-bit TTL control is supplied through a standard 15-pin MDM connector. In the crowded spectrum of the future, front-end flexibility is of increasing importance. Not limited to 2-18 GHz or equal channel widths, the same core architecture may be used in more specific bands, for example at VHF/UHF frequencies. This makes the system equally as suited to EW as it is to Mil Comms applications, where sampling sensitivity or frequency-agile protocols respectively are key to system function.

The S94702A AMX VNA plugin adds S-parameter measurement capabilities to the Keysight test automation platform (TAP).
