  • 4-Wire Resistance Measurement | Continuity & HiPot Cable & Wire Harness Testers

    CAMI Research Inc. (CableEye®)

An add-on option for the CableEye HVX high voltage cable tester series that permits expanded testing for contact and wire resistance as low as 1 mΩ. After checking for opens, shorts, miswires, and resistance limits, the 4-wire Kelvin measurement applies a user-selectable test current from 10 mA to 1 A to determine connection resistance within 1 mΩ. The resistance profile of a model cable may be stored and used as a basis of comparison during later testing to reveal cold solder joints, faulty crimps, recessed pins, pin contact contamination, improper wire gauge, and stress-extruded wire. This option may be purchased with any new HVX tester, or added as an upgrade to any of your existing HVX testers.

  • Manikins for realistic simulation of the acoustic properties of a human

Head & Torso Simulators - Listen Inc

If you need to carry out realistic in-situ measurements of headphones, telephones or hearing aids, you need a Head and Torso Simulator such as the B&K ‘HATS’ – Type 4128D or GRAS’ Kemar to complete your test setup. These manikins have built-in ear and mouth simulators that provide a realistic reproduction of the acoustic properties of an average adult human head and torso. They are commonly used for tests on telephone handsets, headsets, audio conference devices, microphones, headphones, hearing aids and hearing protectors. Please contact your sales engineer or email sales@listeninc.com for more information.

  • Process Timers

    TCT101-1ABC - Datexel

The Process Timer TCT101-1ABC is a panel mount 4 digit 2 line display meter that can be set up for various Timer functions, such as Timer Off, Timer On, Pause Timer, Timer On and Off, Propotinal Timer. The TCT101-1ABC has 2 relays that can be used for various functions and has 5 Amp contacts. The timer periods can be set in multiples of 1 hundredths, 1 tenths of a second, seconds, minutes or hours. With the aid of the front touch panel or digital input it is possible to interrupt the timer. The unit also has a function that can set the output to toggle on and off over a period of time.

  • Rolling Seal 8 Optical Connector - APC (RS8 APC)

    Teledyne Marine ODI

The Angled Physical Contact Rolling Seal 8 Connector (RS8 APC) from Teledyne ODI is a wet-mateable optical connector with angled endfaces. The design reduces signal interference due to reflections at the connector face, supporting the next generation of subsea optical communication equipment. The Rolling Seal design provides isolation from seawater and silt when the connectors are unmated. As the seals rotate, the fibers join inside a clean, oil-filled conduit, resulting in a reliable optical throughput. The RS8 APC incorporates RS8 Mark III design features to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risks during ROV intervention.

  • Single Channel Analyzers

    Alpha Moisture Systems

Alpha Moisture Systems' range of single channel moisture analysers have been developed to meet the requirements of all applications, requiring on-line analysis at a single sample point. These instruments combine robust construction and advanced electronics to ensure that they will provide accurate moisture analysis through a long and reliable service life.Unless stated otherwise, all on-line analysers are used in conjunction with any of our range of dedicated Ultra High Capacitance moisture sensors covering an overall range from -110ºC to +20ºC dewpoint, 0.001 to 23,000 ppm(v). Please contact us for further information.

  • Tachometers/Stroboscopes

    Shenzhen Graigar Technology Co.,Ltd.

Measurement of the speed of a rotating shaft is a common requirement in many industrial and laboratory applications. Such measurements have usually been carried out in the past with the help of contact type tachometers with friction drive. More recently digital optical non-contact tachometers have been designed which count the reflected pulses from a white patch on the shaft and then display the speed in rpm. The light source is usually a filament lamp operating with dry cells leading to limited life and illumination. A similar ideawith magnetic pick-up from a particular area of the shaft has also been used for speed measurement.

  • 2-Wavelength, Polarization-Maintaining WDMs

    Thorlabs, Inc.

Thorlabs' Fused Polarization Maintaining (PM) Wavelength Division Multiplexers (WDMs) combine two wavelengths of light in PM fiber while maintaining the polarization of the incident light. These WDMs are reversible; they can also be used to split two discrete wavelengths entering the common port into two separate output ports. They are not designed to split the output from a broadband source. PM WDMs are often used for pump / signal applications that incorporate erbium-doped or ytterbium-doped fiber amplifiers. They can be readily customized for a wide variety of applications, enabling rapid design cycles and new project builds. For custom requests, please contact Tech Support.

  • Surge Generators

    K&S Engineering and Scientific Ltd

The instrument is fully enclosed in a robust all steel enclosure mounted on castors and fitted with carrying handles. The control panel forms the top of the case, it is finished in high gloss light blue stoving with cutter engraved labelling, and is protected by a detachable lid. The EHT outlet is of a recessed type designed to prevent accidental contact with high voltages. Surge repetition is electronically controlled from 0 to 10 seconds, a single surge or a train of pulses can be selected by a panel mounted switch. Automatic discharge of the instrument is achieved by a gravity operated switch which is released on switching 'OFF' the instrument or on disconnecting the supply.
