Round Wire Coil Inductors
Round wire coil (RWC) inductors come in six platform sizes and enable the highest efficiency of any SMT inductor through the use of a low loss ferrite core material which minimizes AC losses and also eliminates thermal ageing. The use of round magnetic wire instead of rectangular flat coils enables a lower cost while still maintaining a low DCR and small footprint. The platforms have passed the AEC-Q200 stress test qualification proving the designs robustness and suitability to difficult environments but the parts are not IATF certified. The platform range from 7.6×7.4×6.4mm to 26x26x15mm and are suitable for a wide range of applications and markets including communications, computing and industrial.

It is unique device in the market due to its dual purpose: - It can be used as a stable power supply for coils and spring-charging motors (both DC and AC power supply voltage) during commissioning and maintenance testing. - It is powerful analysis tool for assessing conditions of circuit breaker auxiliary circuit and coils. The Coil Analyzer SAT40A II series has separate DC and AC coil outputs for power supply of opening and closing coils. The output voltage is selectable in the ranges from 10 V to 300 V DC or from 10 V to 250 V AC. The Coils outputs can withstand up to 15 A current. The PT-1 provides a simple and easy way to determine the relative polarity of coil windings. It allows for an in-process test that takes a minimum of time to perform. By placing a coil on the platform and making connection to the start and end of a winding, a test signal is induced in the winding. The induced signal is low level and completely safe for the operator. By comparing the test signal phase of the coil under the test output, the relative polarity is indicated by the Red/Green LED. The tester operates by inducing a signal voltage in the coil under test by means of a magnetic flux field. The field is generated by a coil located in the probe base. The coil configuration is designed to provide optimum field distribution. We have also applied this basic circuit to a 5-channel scanning unit.

Inductive Sensors
Inductive Proximity Switches, self contained, depend on the output of an oscillator for their operation. The oscillator resonant circuit uses an open core coil to produce a concentrated high frequency electromagnetic (RF) field, which emerges from the active surface of the sensor.
