Amperis is a company specialising in state-of-the-art instrumentation for the diagnosis and testing of electrical substations. The company is located in the northwest of Spain, in the Polígono Industrial das Gándaras in the city of Lugo. After completing the construction and since November 2017 the company is located in the new headquarters, located at 14 Barbeito María Street. The new Amperis headquarters has offices and a new, more modern warehouse, with more internal conveniences and more facilities for the exit and entry of goods, with the aim of always providing a better service to the customer.

Description The Advanced CAT Series Analyzers and Timers are stand-alone or PC-controlled digital instruments for circuit breaker status evaluation. Timing channels record arc closing and opening, resistance and auxiliary contacts. The main contact channels can also measure the resistance value of pre-insertion resistors (if present in the breaker). The advanced CAT series records graphs of the opening and closing coil currents and the movements of the moving parts of the high and medium voltage circuit breaker. The TWA standard series instruments are designed to measure the resistance of six coils and simultaneously analyze the three-phase tap changer on load of the primary and secondary transformer coils (provided by model TWA40). This is done in a single cable configuration, with test currents up to 40A. Each transformer configuration has a special measurement algorithm that is optimized for rapid stabilization of test results. The TWA instruments generate a true DC current without ripple. Both current injection and magnetic circuit energy discharge are automatically regulated.
