Teledyne LeCroy’s Summit™ T48 joins the Summit™ T416 as the second protocol analyzer to be released in its family of tools supporting the PCIe 4.0 architecture. The new Summit™ T48 protocol analyzer based on the PCIe 4.0 specification supports up to 16GT/s and up to x8 lane width for protocol analysis. Companies that are interested in testing PCIe 4.0 based I/O cards such as Storage Controllers, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Infiniband, and others will now be able to get all of the protocol analyzer debugging features they need, while being able to better manage their costs. SSD storage applications will also benefit from the integrated support for SSD bus protocols such as PCIe/ NVMe/ SMBus/ NVMe-MI/ TCG and others. When combined with Teledyne LeCroy’s Summit™ Z416 protocol exerciser, the Summit™ T48 will provide a deeper understanding of test results on a variety of test configurations. The Teledyne Test Tools T3DSO4000L-HD Oscilloscopes feature four and eight channel low profile models all with 12 bits of vertical resolution. With analog bandwidth options of 500 MHz, 1 GHz and 2 GHz. Each model offers a maximum sample rate of 10 GSa/s with ESR per channel, and a maximum memory depth of 500 Mpts in single channel mode. The T3DSO4000L-HD series is ideal for ATE systems as well as other automated applications.

Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. Typical passive probes provide a 10:1 attenuation and feature a high input resistance of 10 MΩ. This high input resistance means that passive probes are the ideal tool for low frequency signals since circuit loading at these frequencies is minimized. Passive probes are designed to handle voltages of at least 400V, some as high as 600V. Teledyne LeCroy passive probes feature an attenuation sense pin which tells the oscilloscope to scale the waveforms automatically requiring no user input.Each passive probe is recommended for a certain oscilloscope, using the right passive probe with the right oscilloscope means that the probe will be properly compensated across the entire bandwidth. Using probes with a different oscilloscope will only let you compensate for low frequencies.

Through our focus on designing and building products to meet specialized customer needs, the company grew from founder Dr. Robert Allington's garage into its current 200,000 square foot plant. In June of 2004, Isco was acquired by Teledyne Technologies, Inc., becoming Teledyne ISCO and beginning a new chapter in the company's story. Today, Teledyne ISCO manufactures a wide range of products for professionals working in water pollution monitoring and abatement, engineers and managers involved with wastewater process control, and scientists involved in field and laboratory work. We have always taken pride in the fact that the products we produce are used by our customers to improve the quality of life on Earth. Benefits realized from the use of ISCO products range from maintaining a clean environment, to developing disease-curing drugs and finding new energy supplies.
