  • Combined Environmental Reliability Test System

    VTC SERIES - EMIC Corporation

HALT/HASS testing challenges the design, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies of today's manufactured products. Stresses are applied through a number of conditions to set operational limits and ultimately precipitate failure in the HALT/HASS test environment. Rapid thermal change rate is one of the classic conditions that facilitate product stress.VTC Series chambers are equipped with an LN2 cooling system, with modulating valve and directed air flow to the product, provides the rapid thermal change rates required to achieve maximum product stress. Additionally, these rates are accomplished with smaller space requirements, lower audible noise, no water requirement, and lower maintenance costs than a typical refrigeration system.

  • Copper Test Solution

DSX CableAnalyzer™ Series - Fluke Networks

The DSX CableAnalyzer Series copper test solution enables testing and certification of twisted pair cabling for up to 40 Gigabit Ethernet deployments and will handle any cabling system whether it is a Cat 5e, 6, 6A, 8 or Class FA and I/II. Certifying a cable is one part of a process that starts with system design and ends with system acceptance. The faster that process goes, the more profitable you'll be. Unfortunately, there are a lot of things that slow the process down setting up the tester incorrectly, testing to the wrong limits, waiting for skilled technicians to analyze and troubleshoot failures, misinterpretation of results, and producing test reports that customers cannot understand.

  • End-to-End Testing of Location Based Services Software

    Polaris Networks

LBS Tester provides an end-to-end test bed for Mobile Network Operators and Network Equipment Manufacturers, to verify the accurate implementation of the location services network. The LBS Tester tests that the Location Server (System Under Test) is correctly executing the positioning procedures over the control plane and/or user plane of that network. To test normal signaling, or failure scenarios, over the LTE User Plane as the number of SETs (SUPL Enabled Terminals) simulated by the LBS Tester increases, the Location Server must execute LPP (Location Positioning Protocol) procedures over SUPL (Secure User Plane Protocol) with success, or without, respectively.

  • IP VIDEO MARGIN TESTER

    IPMT-3 - FM SYSTEMS, INC.

The IPMT-3 is a precision attenuator used to test IP video systems to insure that you have an adequate digital signal margin. Digital signal margin is the amount of signal level above the digital cliff that you have in your system to prevent a picture failure from occurring. IP cameras will give you a perfect picture until the network cable loss reaches beyond the minimum allowable signal level and then you suddenly get no picture at all. This effect is called the digital cliff, because like walking off of a cliff, everything is great till you take the last step off the edge and then all is lost.

  • Warm-Up Board

WECO 9000 - Radian Research, Inc.

This means almost half the meters arriving are transported through the testing process and not ready for accuracy testing. Typical failures include inoperable display, diagnostic errors, disconnect switch in an open state, wrong firmware version, and inability to register on the communications network.

  • Surface Insulation Resistance Testing (SIR Testing)

    National Technical Systems

Surface Insulation Resistance (SIR), as defined by IPC, is the electrical resistance of an insulating material between a pair of contacts, conductors, or grounding devices that is determined under specified environmental and electrical conditions. In respect to the world of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and printed circuit assemblies (PCAs), SIR testing—also commonly referred to as Temperature Humidity Bias (THB) testing—is used to evaluate a product’s or a process’ ability to resist “failure” by means of current leakage or an electrical short (i.e., dendritic growth). SIR testing is typically performed under elevated temperature and humidity conditions—such as 85°C/85% RH and 40°C/90%—with periodic insulation resistance (IR) measurements obtained.
