In addition, error injection (BC and RT modes), error detection (all modes) and cableless internal loopback are supported on each channel. Single Function:Each channel operates either as a Bus Controller, Remote Terminal, or Bus Monitor.Each dual redundant 1760 channel can operate simultaneously as a Bus Controller and up to 32 Remote Terminals and as a Triggerable Monitor. In addition, error injection (BC and RT modes), error detection (all modes) and cableless internal loopback are supported on each channel. The EXC-1553ccPMC/Px(S)-1760 is supplied with C drivers, including source code, and Merlin+ Windows software.

The kit is supplied with this PCIe card which can plug into any PC PCIe slot, a PXI module for insertion into Slot 1 of a PXI chassis and 3m lead to connect the two parts together. The interface uses a single lane PCIe connection from the PC to provide a software transparent link from the PC PCIe backplane to the PXI backplane. The supplied 3m shielded lead ensures the system has robust operation and an adequate separation distance between the PC and the PXI chassis.

The PCIe-FIW62 is an IEEE 1394b (FireWire 800) interface card which provides two high-speed FireWire 800 ports with data transfer rates up to 800 Mb/s on a PCI ExpressR x1 lane. The PCIe-FIW62 provides two direct-connect IEEE 1394b bilingual connectors with a screw-lock mechanism. These screw-lock connectors provide a reliable connection between the PCIe-FIW62 and up to two IEEE 1394b cameras. A 4-pin ATX power connector on the PCIe-FIW62 supports IEEE 1394b cameras that draw power directly from the frame grabber. Each port has a green LED on the front panel that will illuminate when the PCIe-FIW62 is connected to a IEEE 1394b camera for convenient identification of channel connection status.

Up to 40 controllers may be independently powered and monitored for functionality using the process test interface of the Optimum WinAOS application. Each part may have 2 separate biases featuring both current and voltage monitoring. Independent test is implemented through a standard JTAG interface. A separate serial clock and command interface may be used if required to provide device initialization sequences. JTAG control is muxed to each part through the use of an independent clock for each part. All of the ARC processor registers and memory space may be tested through the JTAG I/O.
