X-Band Silicon Radar Quad Core IC
AWS-0105
The AWS-0105 is a highly integrated silicon quad core IC intended for radar and 5G phased array applications. The device supports four radiating elements, single beam transmit, and single beam receive and includes all requisite beam steering controls for 6 bit phase and gain control. The device provides 21 dB gain and +15 dBm output power during transmit mode and 7 dB gain and +7 dBm IIP3 during receive mode. Additional features include gain compensation over temperature, temperature reporting, and fast beam switching using eight on-chip beam weight storage registers. The device features ESD protection on all pins, operates from a +1.8 V supply, and is packaged in a 56 lead 7x7 mm QFN for easy installation in planar phased array antennas.

Linear Array
Linear array sensors consist of a linear array of integrating photosensing pixels which measure incident light over a user-defined exposure time and generate a voltage or digital output which represents the light exposure at each pixel. The sensors are available in a variety of lengths and pixel resolutions. The analog output may be directly interfaced to an ADC for digital processing or for comparing black/white thresholds. Applications include contact image sensing, optical character recognition, edge detection, and object measurement in products such as copiers, document scanners and spectroscopy.

There are two SINE Sinusoidal arrays designed for FBI applications: the SINE M-13-60-S-RM and the SINE M-13-60-FBI Kit.The SINE M-13-60-S-RM was designed jointly by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, of Washington DC, and MITRE, of Bedford MA. The primary function of this Target is for computing Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) evaluation in live scanner fingerprint systems for conformance to Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS) image quality requirements. The array is on reflective material measuring 16mm x 16mm with sinusoidal arrays ranging in frequency from 1.0 to 10.0 cycles per mm; with nominal modulation of the sinusoidal areas at 60%. The top and bottom rows are density scales, from 0.20 to 1.20 densities.The SINE M-13-60-FBI Kit consist of two individual components, the SINE M-13-60-1X-RM and the RR1-N-RM Ronchi Ruling grating.
