PMI offers a full product line of RF Switch Matrices that operate over the 20MHz to 40GHz frequency range. Three standard models are offered that cover this frequency range, namely 20MHz to 3.0GHz, 2.0GHz to 18.0GHz, and 18.0GHz to 40.0GHz. Any of the three models can be supplied as either a 4 X 4, 8 X 8, 16 X 16, or 32 X 32 non-blocking matrix.

The 40-834A-102 (PXI) and 42-834A-102 (PXIe) are 75 Ohm 8 to 1 RF multiplexers with 2 banks in a single slot. They have been designed to exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss. The design of the 40/42-834A minimizes the injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal path by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design.

It performs four tests to evaluate the Sending Noise, Sending Sensitivity, Sending Loudness, Sidetone Masking, Receiving Sensitivity and Receiving Loudness. You run the system using the controlling PC, which allows automatic configuration and which runs the test sequence automatically. When testing is complete, you can print the data as an MS Excel report or save it for comparison and analysis.
