Verifier Computer Interface Report
VCIR
The Verifier Computer Interface Report (VCIR) is a Windows software package that allows for transferring inspection report from your Inspector series bar code verifier to a computer. Once transferred you can review the ISO/ANSI inspection results or view the scan reflectance profile for detailed troubleshooting. The inspection results can be saved by job for later retrieval or to append new inspection results to the existing job. As each job is saved an Excel spreadsheet (CSV file) is generated. You can customize which parameters should be saved in the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet provides a simple report that will have a line for each bar code inspected.

The circuits use an 82C55A PPI with mode 0 supported. Ports A, B and C are buffered with 74ABT245 transceivers and pulled up to 5V. The optional 82C54 has three-sixteen bit down-counters within one chip. With the MU-Thermocouple1 CAN FD, measurement data from thermocouples are recorded, pre-processed and transmitted with CAN FD. The temperature is measured via 8 connections, which are designed for the temperature measuring ranges J, K or T, depending on the product version. Temperatures can be recorded in Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin and calculated with an individual factor and offset. The measurement data is then transmitted via CAN FD or via classic CAN.
