A VISA PNP Software Support Kit (SSK) is provided to facilitate application development.

The PI-11008 Instrument Chassis was designed to accommodate the power and noise requirements of some of Pulse Instruments analog instrument cards. These instrument cards, such as the PI-41401, PI-41702 and others supply signal outputs that require more current from the -12 V supply than available in a standard chassis. Therefore this chassis has a larger -12 V power supply that provides 2.5 Amps.

The Power Supply Unit (PSU) is available in three versions: Primary, Optional Single and Optional Double.- The Primary PSU (A4531) is the standard SYx527 power supply block. It includes the SERVICE and 600 WPSU within a single slot module. Each SY4527/SY5527 includes one A4531 Primary Power Supply.- The Optional Single PSU provides an additional 600W of power in a single slot module.- The Optional Double PSU provides an additional 1200W of power in a single slot module.

The module is a register based device with A16/A24/A32 address space and has interrupter capability. The carrier board's VXI bus interface is used to program and monitor the carrier board registers for configuration and control of the board. The VXI bus interface is also used to communicate with and control the external devices that are connected to an IP modules field I/O signals.

The 9050 VXI Solution is designed for use with VPC's pre-wired interconnect adapters on the top tier and discrete wiring modules on the bottom tier. The receiver opens downward via hinges to give the user access to the instruments in the rack. A microswitch, which comes standard, allows for shut off any power going through the system before removing the ITA. Using a plug and play plate or a flange kit allows for easy mounting of the receiver to any 19” rack system.
