Rugged Embedded Multifunction I/O System with 10 GB Fiber Optic & 1 GB Copper Ethernet Switch
NIU3E
The NIU3E is a small, rugged, low-power, self-contained multifunction I/O processing system preconfigured with 24-CH programmable Discrete I/O, 8-CH ARINC 429/575, 4-CH CANBus and 2-CH MIL-STD-1553 functions and incorporates an Ethernet switch module that offers four (4) 10GBase-SR multimode fiber optic ports and sixteen (16) 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports. The NIU3E can also be configured with one smart Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) function module. The NIU3E boasts a Dual or Quad Core ARM A53 processor for customer application and I/O and communications management. The NIU3E is configured with two 10/100/1000Base-T (GbE) Ethernet ports and an RS-232 port for maintenance / diagnostic or configuration interface. Ideally suited for rugged Mil-Aero applications, the NIU3E delivers off-the-shelf solutions that accelerate deployment of SWaP-optimized systems in air, land and sea applications.

Real Time Switch

Real Time Switch is a real time timer which can be used to switch electrical appliances like street lamps, garden lights, corridor lights, neon signs etc as per time of the day. The timer has built in almanac timings fixed in nonvolatile ram so that the user does not have to programme the unit from time to time. This has added advantage over daily dial or weekly timers. Timer provides two outputs to drive contractors of different ratings. These outputs can be used with different combinations to achieve desired output. Timer is provided with manual override facility. This high bandwidth differential PCI fault insertion card is designed to simulate common faults on high speed two wire communication interfaces such as Ethernet. Any wire can be set to an open circuit, shorts can be applied across the wire pair, or to the adjacent pair. PCI Fault Insertion Switch Cards for Differential Serial InterfacesThe new modules include the Differential PCI Fault Insertion Switch (model 50-200) which is designed for lower data rate serial interfaces such as CAN and FlexRay, and the High Bandwidth Differential PCI Fault Insertion Switch (model 50-201) which is designed for higher data rate serial interfaces such as AFDX and 1000BaseT Ethernet. Each module allows the introduction of fault connections that include data paths open, data paths shorted together, and data paths shorted to externally applied faults such as power supplies and ground. The software driver defaults to a protective mode where conflicting faults are prevented to avoid accidentally shorting unintended paths, such as power to ground. A separate mode allows complete freedom in setting fault patterns.
