The Extech CG204 is a portable meter designed for non-invasive coating thickness measurements with automatic recognition of ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. The tester uses dual technology to indicate ferrous (magnetic induction measurement) and non-ferrous (eddy current measurement) substrates. It features single and continuous measurement modes as well as direct and group working modes, 400-reading memory storage, and user-programmable high/low alarms. The CG204 comes with two AAA batteries, USB cable, software, calibration iron, calibration aluminum, precision standards, pouch case, and user manual.

Fairview Microwave’s semi-rigid test probe assemblies come in multiple cable diameters to help when attaching the unterminated end of the probe to a circuit board trace. There are two versions including straight-cut probe ends for those that would like to customize the dimensions of the center conductor and dielectric dimensions, as well as pre-stripped probe ends that are ready for immediate use. By soldering the outer conductor to the signal ground and the exposed center conductor to the trace carrying the signal of interest, simple sampling measurements can be made without having to create a separate subassembly circuit board or add a connector to the circuit layout which can take up valuable real estate. Fairview provides 3 diameters of semi-rigid coax and 3 different lengths from 3 inches to 12 inches to fit a variety of trace widths and applications. All test probes are 100% RF tested to ensure the cable assemblies operate to 6 GHz and also to make sure that the SMA connector interface meets the 1.35:1 VSWR specification prior to shipping. To protect the small diameter coax from damage, each part is shipped in a clear protective tube that can also be used for storing the probes for future use.

This instrument offers a Potentiostat, Galvanostat and Zero Resistance Ammeter with integrated Frequency Response Analyser and Sweep Generator in one. It is based around a two Amp Potentiostat teamed with a two Amp Zero Resistance Ammeter and can be supplied as - 6 channel, with six sequential channels, 8 channel (eight sequential channels) or 12 channel (twelve sequential channels). The measuring principle is based on voltage induction in the coil through a changing magnetic field, which is caused, for example, by a rotating ferromagnetic gear. The coil is wound on a magnetic core and led out via a cable or a plug. The sensors are manufactured with metric or inch threads or with a flange connection and deliver a sinusoidal output signal, the amplitude of which is proportional to the peripheral speed. They can be connected to Orbit Controls evaluation devices. An OC35-IMP transmitter is available for converting to square-wave signals.

EtherCAT is an open real-time Ethernet Master/Slave network developed by Beckhoff. Today, it is an open standard, managed by the EtherCAT technology group. EtherCAT sets new limits for real-time performance since it processes 1000 distributed I/O in 30 µs or 100 axis in 100 µs using twisted pair or fiber optic cable. Regarding topology, EtherCAT supports a simple low cost line structure, a tree structure, daisy chaining or drop lines - no expensive infrastructure components are required. Alternatively the classic more expensive switched star topology can be used.
