A new set of motorized tables developed by Klocke Nanotechnik allows high strokes at small volumes. The modules are driven by the Nanomotor®. Loads of up to two kg can be moved over centimeters of stroke with down to 2 nm resolution. Manipulation in many degrees of freedom is possible without backlash. The modules NMT xx-L are longer, but thin like a pencil. In most of the NMT-modules position measurement systems can be included without increasing the size. The resolution of the position sensor is better than 10 nm. All NMT modules can easily be fixed onto each other. Very small connectors allow the exchange of a module without removing cables. The NMT-Zxx are modules for vertical movement. They have an internal load compensation to lift up loads. Nanomotor-Grippers and force sensors that can easily be fixed on these modules are available.

You can know the load on an electric motor by measuring the electric current going to the motor (Amps). But, this is not the best way to do it since a lightly-loaded motor doesn't use the electricity very efficiently. (In technical terms, the power factor is low.)A better way to know the load is to measure the motor power. (Power is measured in Horsepower or Watts.) Motor power gives you a straight line so it works well even when the motor is lightly loaded.The Power Sensors that we make measure the motor load (Horsepower or Watts) and send a signal to meters or computers. The operator can see what the status is on the meter or, the computer can make decisions.

Named after the FRC Team 1756 mascot, Argos, the ArgoBot development platform includes a fully-assembled, ready to drive mini WiFi enabled robot (about 8" x 5" x 4"), as well as tons of FRC controls tutorials and example code (LabVIEW VIs). Features included on the ArgoBot will look very familiar to anyone who has worked with National Instruments products (Compact RIO and RoboRIO) in the past. This includes three 5V Digital I/O modules (with jumpered pull-ups), three 5V analog inputs, and an I2C header. Example VIs have been streamlined to enable a 1-click configuration style to accelerate your development process. We also added a 2-channel motor driver that is used to supply the ArgoBot drive motors. Our ultimate goal is that everything you can build, control or implement on ArgoBot can be easily leveraged on your FRC bot! Complimenting its many electrical features, ArgoBot is easy to work with and easy to maintain. The chassis is a polycarbonate (the extremely tough stuff that is easy to drill and modify but easily takes bumps and bruises without cracking) case that is fully intact - meaning that ArgoBot doesn't just come with a case... it is a case! Clean-up and organization is simple - just close the case and turn off the power switch.
