Compact Linear Systems
-
Take the guesswork out of specifying multiple components for your linear motion designs. Thomson compact linear systems address the need for thrust and bearing support in a single, small-scale unit for space-conscious applications. Whether you opt for one of our three standard architectures (see below) or work with our engineers on a “from scratch” solution, your application requirements will determine the selection and sizing of your system components.

Linear Actuators
Electrak Pro
-
Thomson introduces our Electrak Pro Series of linear actuators. This family stands alone when it comes to the toughest and most demanding applications. Available in 12 or 24 VDC models with customizable stroke lengths up to 300 mm (12 in), these units can push or pull loads up to 4448 N (1000 lbf) at speeds of 20 mm/s (0.8 in/s) and hold loads up to 9000 N (2000 lbf), or contact our factory for longer strokes or higher loads. When space is scarce, where dust, dirt, and water are abundant and when solid, reliable and maintenance-free operation is a must - Electrak Pro is the answer.

Linear Actuators
Electrak 1
-
The Electrak 1 actuator is completely self-contained and sealed for indoor and outdoor use. Functionally, these models are easily interchanged with comparably sized hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. Used on intermittent duty applications Electrak 1 actuators provide consistent, repeatable performance in the most rigorous operating conditions including extreme temperatures and humidities.

Precision Linear Actuators
ECT-Series
-
Thomson's ECT Series of Precision Linear Actuators are our highest performing line of electric cylinder systems. Designed for the most demanding applications, the ECT Series is ideal when powerful performance over a long life cycle is required. With a full complement of drive controls, accessories, options, and mounting types, these systems are adaptable to just about any application environment. As a better choice over hydraulic or pneumatic equivalents, the ECT Series are simpler to install, maintain, and control. This family comes in two different sizes mating our traditional Movotrak T90 and T130 actuators with both AC servo and 3 AC induction motor configurations.
