Checking the Geometry and the Placement of the Weld
Based on the real geometric three-dimensional profile of the weld (groove) on the outside of a large diameter pipe, determine the offset of the center of the weld (groove) from the weld line. Provide continuous output of results through the RS-232 interface to the welding process control system.
