C800 -
optek
The Control 800 series of electrochemical converters combines high performance digital conductivity and analog pH measurements with intuitive operation. It has been designed for easy integration into skids and panels to cover a wide range of bioprocess applications in both, conventional stainless steel and single-use systems.

156 -
optek
The single channel 156 converter is designed for the control of an optek AF56 / AS56 optical sensor or probe for process monitoring. Range settings and configurable alarms add flexibility in the process control. Analogue signals can be passed e.g., to PLC.

556 -
optek
The dual channel converter 556 provides continuous inline, real-time measurement and control of turbidity. The customer’s specific factory calibration of the converter can be configured in ppm (DE), FTU or EBC. Combined with an optek TF56-N scattered light sensor the 556 converter is a cost-saving measuring system, providing reliable process measurements.

optek’s electroplating analyzers are inline devices designed to measure plating solution’s metal concentration in real time. These analyzers can be designed to accommodate virtually any concentration range. Operationally, the analyzer passes a white light beam through the plating solution to be monitored. Then, light absorbance is measured at two distinct wavelengths, and the difference in light absorbance between the two wavelengths is equated to a plating solution concentration.

The armature - assembled sensor body - is the central component of an inline photometer. We have already designed more than 1000 different sensor bodies and more than 50 types are always on stock. All optek inline sensor bodies are made from high quality materials and are machined with extreme precision. The quality-tested manufacturing tolerances allow optical path lengths of up to 1000 mm, for which the accuracy of the incoming and outgoing light beam is ensured by testing a laser-based coaxiality tolerance test to the reference axis. To cover a wide spectrum of different process conditions, optek sensor bodies can be manufactured from various materials (also for aggressive chemicals or with NACE MR 0175) and adapted with regards to:

optek’s chlorine dioxide (ClO2) analyzers are inline devices designed to measure real time ClO2 solution strength and/or ClO2 gas concentration . These analyzers can be designed to accommodate virtually any measuring range regardless of the stream’s phase. Operationally, the analyzer passes a white light beam through the ClO2 stream to be monitored, where light absorbance is measured at two distinct wavelengths.

optek’s Saybolt color analyzer is a dual wavelength light absorption sensor. Operationally, the sensor passes a white light beam through the stream to be monitored, where light absorbance is measured at two distinct wavelengths. The measuring wavelength is set to focus on or near the peak absorbance point of the “yellowness” curve, while the secondary wavelength is chosen to compensate for any influence due to light scattering (window fouling, particulate, immiscible fluids, gas bubbles, etc.). Together, the sensor yields a repeatable and reliable true color number without any sample conditioning.

TF56-N -
optek
The TF56-N sensor is an inline real-time device designed to measure light absorbance at 11° caused by interaction with process turbidity. As an NIR light beam is passed through a dynamic process stream, the sensor simultaneously measures the amount of light scattered at 11° and the remaining amount of un-scattered light at 0°.

ASD12-N -
optek
The ASD12-N absorption probe has a durable LED light source for direct installation into laboratory bioreactors and disposable bioreactors for measuring cell growth and optical density. The probe is available in three different lengths to fit any vessel and is suited for sterilization / autoclaving procedures.
-
AS56-N -
optek
AS56-N is a probe for direct installation into pipelines and vessels measuring NIR light absorption (Turbidity or Solids Concentration) in various liquid flow streams. Two optical path length choices allow the measurement range to meet the process control requirements.
-
AS16-N -
optek
High precision probe for direct installation into pipelines and vessels measuring NIR light absorption (turbidity) of various liquid samples. The optical path length can be individually configured to meet the process control requirements with the highest accuracy.

The ability to detect oil in water is important for many industrial processes involving cooling water or heat exchangers. For example, electric generating stations often use natural sources of water such as lakes and rivers to cool generator lube oil systems. The lube oil is cooled in a heat exchanger where the lube oil and cooling water are in isolated streams.
