Structure-borne Probe
T20
The structure-borne ultrasonic probe T20 is used for condition monitoring of machines, systems and processes, given that they generate detectable structure-borne sound in the ultrasonic range. Changes in the sound signals indicate a change in the condition and/or process of the plant. The detection of these changes forms the basis for condition monitoring in predictive maintenance.

Ultrasonic Leak Detector
ULD-410
When equipment begins to fail due to an air or gas leak or vibration, or electrical discharge, the leakage point emits an ultrasonic sound wave that is above the natural range of human hearing. The ULD-410 Ultrasonic Leak Detector converts this ultrasonic sound into a signal that can be used to pinpoint the exact location of the equipment failure.

SparkFun Electret Microphone Breakout
This small breakout board couples an Electret microphone (100Hz--10kHz) with a 60x mic preamplifier to amplify the sounds of voice, claps, door knocks or any sounds loud enough to be picked up by a microcontroller’s analog-to-digital converter. Each breakout comes fully assembled and works from 2.7V up to 5.5V.

CAD Tool
Sabin
Sabin is a powerful CAD tool for room acoustics engineers. Based on statistical calculations, it determines the acoustical parameters of a user defined room, such as the reverberation time T60, the sound pressure level, and the RASTI as a measure of speech intelligibility. These parameters are updated dynamically, while the user is changing simulated sound sources and absorbing materials.

Acoustics Analysis
The sounds a product makes directly impact on user experiences. Sounds create strong emotions — positively or negatively — that reinforce brand identity. The difficulty of predicting acoustic results means that a single engineering mistake can prove costly to the final product, making Ansys Acoustics Analysis a powerful solution to ensure optimal acoustics and a successful end product.

Analog Ultrasonic Inspection System
ULTRAPROBE 100
The Ultraprobe senses high frequency sounds produced by operating equipment, leaks and electrical discharges. It electronically translates these signals by heterodyning them down into the audible range so that a user can hear these sounds through a headset and see them as intensity increments on the meter. Heterodyning works the same as a radio in that it accurately transforms the sounds so that they are easily recognized and understood.

Infrasound Measurements
Is sound that is lower in frequency than 20 Hz (hertz) or cycles per second, the "normal" limit of human hearing. Hearing becomes gradually less sensitive as frequency decreases, so for humans to perceive infrasound, the sound pressure must be sufficiently high. The ear is the primary organ for sensing infrasound, but at higher intensities it is possible to feel infrasound vibrations in various parts of the body.

Real-Time Spectrogram
(RTS) 4.0
Real-Time Spectrogram (RTS) 4.0 provides viewing, measurement, and editing of unlimited-length sound files. RTS 4.0 operates as a module within SIGNAL 4.0, so measurement data can be stored in the SIGNAL logfile and sound segments can be exported directly to SIGNAL buffers (as well as saved to disk). Analog I/O is provided by one of the direct-to-disk analog I/O programs described below.
