The Valhalla Scientific 2800 High-Precision Power Analyzer is available in 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, or 6-phase versions. All voltage inputs 0.3V up to 1500V peak and all current inputs 1.5mA up to 1A; 15mA up to 5A; 1A up to 40A; and shunt inputs 60mV up to 6V are potentially free and exhibit low noise, high common mode suppression, excellent DC-stability, wide frequency range (DC-2MHz) and very low self-heating on current inputs.There is no need to fiddle with DC-compensation, or changing current plugging. All is built into the input sections of the power analyzer, ready for measurements. It is simple to use, your intuition will guide you to operate the Power Analyzer touch screen correctly.

The unit is compact and lightweight. The basic system is 7″ wide by 2.5″ high and 12″ long. When measurements are needed below approximately 100 micro-ohm-centimeters, the basic system is piggybacked onto a second enclosure that houses a power amplifier with a current gain of ten. The combined unit measures 7″ wide by 5″ high and 12″ long. The combined unit weighs 11.5 pounds. Two short cables interconnect the two enclosures for powering the power amplifier and routing the signals to the fixture or four point probe. The front panel of the basic system includes a 32-character backlit LCD display and a set of function keys. An easy-to-use menu will allow access to user defined parameters such as sample thickness, sample volume, and calibration constants; upper and lower alarm limits, relative measurements, and several others.

National RF’s Type NDB-2 and NDB-3 RF Milliwatt Meters are affordable pieces of test equipment for both the RF laboratory and the home experimenter. Both provide a digital reading of RF power in dB reference 1 milliwatt of power into a 50 ohm load (i.e. 0 dBm). The circuitry consists of a low noise logarithmic amplifier that drives a digital A/D converting meter circuit. The lowest power levels that can be read are about –73 dBm (approximately 40 microvolts or .00000003 milliwatts). The maximum power input should not exceed 10 milliwatts (+10 dBm or .010 watts) when inputed without attenuation. An internal attenuator is provided and described in the next section.
