Crossing Control Bypass Switch
XCBS
The XCBS is permanently wired into each crossing warning system, and can be configured with either a removable or non-removable bypass key. Simply connect the crossing control circuits to the designated terminals on the XCBS. The rotating "knife switch" on the left side of the XCBS allows the crossing warning system to be controlled for manual test purposes. To prevent unnecessary operation of the crossing warning system, insert the key and select "bypass", rotate the knife switch to "bypass" and the crossing is disabled. The non-removable bypass key adds an additional level of security for the Bypass function. Optional hookup can be made to the auxiallary terminals to include the activation of a strobe or event recorder input when the XCBS is placed in the "bypass" position.

SP3T RF Pin Diode Switches To 18 GHz
Pulsar Microwave manufactures 3-way absorptive and reflective switches for use in 50-ohm systems. These SP3T switches operate from 100 MHz to 18 GHz and handle 200 mW input power. VSWR performance is often 1.6:1 or better with 100 ns switching time. Minimum isolation of 60 dB is specified for most units. Absorptive and reflective switches require +5V and -5V power supply to function. Control logic is from 0 to +5 volts. This high bandwidth differential PCI fault insertion card is designed to simulate common faults on high speed two wire communication interfaces such as Ethernet. This card supports 4 or 8-channels of two wire serial connections and can be used for simulating faults on Ethernet, AFDX, Broad R-Reach, 100BaseT and 1000BaseT interfaces. Any wire can be set to an open circuit, shorts can be applied across the wire pair, or to the adjacent pair. Fault connections can be made to one of four external signals via two fault buses, typically simulating connections to a supply voltage or ground.

Typical applications for this high density matrix include signal routing in Functional ATE and data acquisitionsystems. These PXI matrix cards are constructed using high reliability rutheniumelectro-plated reed relays, offering >10e8 operations to give maximum switchingconfidence with long life and stable contact resistance. Larger matrices may be constructed by Daisy Chaining the common signals from multiple PXI modules.
