・About Ior Leakage CurrentRecently, the leakage current clamp meter is widely used for insulation control of low voltage circuit as the supplementary method of the insulation resistance measurement. The control of leakage current has the advantages to enable the prediction of insulation condition in the electrical power line without having to shut off the power. The leakage current (Io) includes the capacitive leakage current (Ioc)originated in the capacitance and the resistive leakage current (Ior) originated in the insulation resistance each related to the ground. It is considered that the measurement of resistive leakage current (Ior) is the very useful and effective method for the insulation control of low voltage circuit. However, it was difficult to measure the resistive leakage current (Ior)with traditional leakage current clamp meter. MCL-400IR new digital clamp tester enabled the measurements of the resistive leakage current (Ior)without voltage input(phase detection).

The Model 8515-D is a medium-energy, high voltage, and capacitor discharge type ringing demagnetizer capable of desaturating Ceramic and Rare Earth magnetic materials. The Model 8515-D is easily adapted to a wide range of production and laboratory demagnetizing requirements. A modern solid-state electronic control circuit, coupled with a rugged, heavy-duty discharge SCR and fixture, make this demagnetizer a highly reliable, low maintenance unit. The electronic voltage control circuit prevents the Model 8515-D from being discharged before the preset energy level has been reached, avoiding incomplete magnet desaturation. An easy to read front panel meter monitors the capacitor voltage. The energy storage level can be easily changed in the field. From hot testing to all bright steel processing steps, the surfaces of semi-finished products made from austenitic, (non) ferromagnetic metals can be tested for defects. The DEFECTOMAT systems operate in a contactless and non-destructive manner in accordance with the eddy current method and are used for detecting short defects, such as holes or localized defects and transverse defects. The systems detect defective materials fully automatically and reliably.
