Dielectric Resonator Oscillators
Dielectric resonator oscillators (DRO) are free running oscillators that utilize state-of-the-art planar circuits, three-terminal devices and dielectric resonator technology to generate high-quality microwave signals with excellent frequency stability. In addition, these oscillators are equipped with an internal voltage regulator that further improves the frequency stability by isolating the external bias pushing and modulation. In general, these oscillators are fixed. However, a small mechanical or electrical tuning range can be achieved by use of a self-locking screw or an integrated Varactor diode. The standard offering covers the frequency range of 2 to 40 GHz. While standard models are equipped with female SMA and K connectors at the RF port, other RF interface options are also available.

The NO-CL method for Ozone has several advantages over the conventional UV absorption technology, including the avoidance of positive and commonly found interferrents such as VOCs, fine particulates, Mercury, turpines, ClO2, and others. Three-Phase Transformer Winding Resistance Meters
TWA Advanced Series
TWA Advanced series is the latest DV Power solution for three-phase transformer winding resistance measurement and tap changer analysis. They are capable of testing six transformer windings with a single cable connection, as well as three-phase automatic transformer demagnetization. It has the option of the automated test mode, where the instrument operates the tap changer without operator input (minimizing the risk of human error) and records winding resistance results based on pre-selected stabilization criteria.The unique DVtest method of tap changer analysis enables checking the moving contacts of on-load tap changers during the transition, measuring the transition time, detecting open circuits, and many other types of faults. It is performed with 0.1 ms sampling rate, together with the measurement of tap changer motor current which detects motor and mechanical issues. A special proprietary algorithm is used for testing tap changers connected through a built-in series (booster) transformer. The DVtest can be performed either on one phase or simultaneously on three phases. It can also be performed together with the winding resistance test in all tap positions.A unique advantage of TWA Advanced instruments is the capability of simultaneously testing the winding resistance of all three phases of a three-phase transformer connected in a YN configuration. This can significantly speed up the testing– for example, it enables the operator to perform 33 measurements instead of 99 on a tap changer with 33 tap positions.TWA500 is equipped with a large 10.1” graphical touch-screen display, while TWA400 has a 7” graphical touch-screen display. Besides making the interface much more user-friendly compared to older winding ohmmeters, it also enables certain test options that were previously available only with DV-Win software. The most important among them are DVtest, tap changer motor current measurement, “Heat Run” test, test templates, and automatic test mode.

In recent years, we have been developing a sophisticated IV curve tracer for PV modules including a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) function. The IV curve tracer is designed for operation with any market-available steady-state solar simulator. Through our web-based software design, the operator can supervise the test results from every computer in a company network. The software contains functions such as an irradiation sum counter that helps to check requirements stated in a stabilization test like they are defined in IEC 61215 (MQT 19). We have also included a correction function to correct the traced IV curves to standard test conditions (STC) when the user enters the required temperature coefficients. One of the most important features is the multi-IV curve tracing function, which enables the user to display more than 150 IV curves in one graph. This eases the analysis of the weakest cells in hot-spot tests, which are required in IEC 61730 (MST 22) and IEC 61215 (MQT 09).

Every individual SENresearch 4.0 spectroscopic ellipsometer is a customer-specific configuration of spectral range, options and field upgradable accessories. SENresearch 4.0 uses fast FTIR ellipsometry for the NIR up to 2,500 nm or 3,500 nm, respectively. It provides broadest spectral range with best S/N ratio and highest, selectable spectral resolution. Silicon films up to 200 µm thickness can be measured. The measurement speed of FTIR ellipsometry compares to diode array configurations, which are also selectable up to 1,700 nm. The new motorized Pyramid Goniometer features an angle range from 20 deg to 100 deg. Optical encoders ensure highest precision and long term stability of angle settings.
