PMI® introduces the convenience of flexible current probes (Flex CTs)! These 5,000A probes come in 12″, 24″, 36″, and 48″ lengths that allow you to easily surround multiple conductor bundles. They are available in sets of two, three, or four for use with different recorders. The Flex CTs are powered from recorder voltage and DO NOT require a battery pack for operation.

Energy Probes
RjP-600 Series
The RjP-600 Series energy probes integrate the detector and preamplifier in the same enclosure, thereby maximizing signal integrity between the detector and preamplifier. This permits longer cable runs between the probe and instrument, as is often necessary in production environments. Probe specific information, like calibration date and wavelength response curves, is stored in the probe for access by the instrument. Other features include interchangeable filter holders and ¼-20 mounting hole.

Probes, Cables & Detectors
Probe has a mica window that has a thickness of 1.8 to 2.0 mg/cm2. This allows detection of alpha radiation as low as 3.0 MeV when in close proximity to the window. Beta radiation in excess of 35 keV and X-ray or gamma radiation greater than 6 keV can also be deteched. The detector is provided with a BNC connector. It can be used with most count rate and survey meters which accept Geiger Mueller (GM) detectors operating at 900V DC.

Switch Probes
A Switch Probe is a spring contact probe and receptacle combination that is normally open, and after a designated travel the switch probe closes. The most common use for switch probes is in the cable harness testing industry. The switch probe is used to verify the correct location of a terminal in a connector while checking the retention force as well. Active Voltage Probes
Engineers must commonly probe high-frequency signals with high signal fidelity. Typical passive probes with high input R and C provide good response at lower frequencies, but inappropriately load the circuit, and distort signals, at higher frequencies. Active voltage probes feature both high input R and low input C to reduce circuit loading across the entire probe/oscilloscope bandwidth. With low circuit loading, and a form factor that allows probing in confined areas, the active voltage probe becomes the everyday probe for all different types of signals and connection points.
