Tone Coax Cable Generator

The AINES 240 HAL Tone Generator is a water resistant tone generator equipped with a weathertite 2 conductor modular cord and jack. The set can be connected to the Network Interface Device (NID) with either the two individual clips or the modular cord. This allows the CPE circuit to be viewed in both directions, towards the Central Office and towards the customer premise. In the event the CPE does not have a jack, but instead has a cord, plug the cord into the Model 240s jack and transmit tone!

The TMO-2 Transducer Modules is a complete differential amplifier/signal conditioners with self contained power. The units provide excitation, balance and span adjustment via precision 10 turn pots, and shunt calibration necessary to couple a user supplied bridge type transducer to an indicating instrument. Full scale output is specified at plus or minus 10 VDC. The TMO-2 provides a floating shunt calibration circuit which applies calibration at the transducer, thereby eliminating errors due to line losses. The excitation supply incorporates a Wagner Ground to greatly improve Common Mode Rejection. The factory set bandwidth of the module is narrow to improve stability for applications such as weighing scales. The removal of a single capacitor will increase the frequency response DC to 60K Hz for dynamic data applications.

Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. Typical passive probes provide a 10:1 attenuation and feature a high input resistance of 10 MΩ. This high input resistance means that passive probes are the ideal tool for low frequency signals since circuit loading at these frequencies is minimized. Passive probes are designed to handle voltages of at least 400V, some as high as 600V. Teledyne LeCroy passive probes feature an attenuation sense pin which tells the oscilloscope to scale the waveforms automatically requiring no user input.

Current Transformers

OBD-II Breakout Box
PPECB
The Power Probe OBD-II Breakout Box is a CAN Bus circuit tester compatible with 12 and 24 Volt systems. The tool connects directly into the Vehicle’s Data Link Connector (DLC) testing for any abnormalities such as shorting and reverse polarity at the pins. If shorting or reverse polarity is present, connecting the PPECB first will prevent harm before connecting a Diagnostic Scan Tool. The Breakout Box provides a live display of present communicating signals without having to use a Digital Multimeter. Additionally, you can quickly test the voltages at all 16 pins.

These device measures the impedance of the short-circuit loop between the outer conductors of a circuit, whereby the probable short-circuit current is calculated.
