The VX405C carrier provides the mechanical and electrical interfaces between the VXIbus and up to six (6) VITA 12-1996 standard M/MA-Modules. The carrier provides VXI register configuration and access to the M/MA-Module I/O space and memory (if present). Each M/MA-Module is controlled separately and appears as a different logical address in the VXI environment. Over 100 M/MA-Modules are available that can provide custom interfacing to the unit under test (UUT). Up to six (6) unique interfaces may be provided in a single VXI slot.

The N2795A is a new generation of low-cost, single-ended active probe with the AutoProbe interface. Pulsar Microwave's 2-way switches are available in absorptive and reflective designs from 20 MHz to 18 GHz. They are also referred to as single pole, double throw and abbreviated SPDT or SP2T. These switches have a typical VSWR performance of 1.6:1 or better and input power handling of 200 milliwatts maximum. Switching time is 100 nanoseconds, and isolation of 60 dB or greater for most models. Supply voltages are +5V and -5V, with TTL logic control voltage of 0 to 5 volts.Both absorptive and reflective SPDT switches are packaged into Pulsar Microwave's SW2 outline. Configuration is standard with SMA female connectors. Voltage is applied with wire wrap feed thru terminals. The housing serves as electrical ground, and two turret terminals are installed for wiring.

The VS-10a power supply is a light weight, portable, non-isolated “variable source” from 0 volts to 150 Vac or 0 volts to 150 Vdc and rated for up to 10 amps, thus the name VS-10a. It is comprised of an illuminated voltmeter that reads to the first significant digit, AC variable system output voltage, DC variable system output voltage, logic output voltage and one sense (continuity) contact monitoring points. Banana jacks for connection of test leads are spaced at intervals that allow the use of dual banana test plugs if desired. The VS-10a is protected by two levels of overcurrent protection; AC input, and ground fault protection by a GFCI. All circuitry is housed inside a custom designed case made from 16 gauge steel. An Internal fan dissipates heat buildup and exhaust through louvered side vents built into the case. The carrying handle is designed with a “spring return to rest” position and is padded for comfort. The case has been sized for optimum portability and is balanced from the handle during transportation. The case has a powder coated finish that is scratch, chemical and weather resistant. Rubber padded feet support the case when in the upright position and a convenience receptacle is located on the side of the case.

The GX3702 is a user configurable, FPGA-based, 3U PXI card which offers 160 digital I/O signals which can be configured for single-ended or differential interfaces. The card employs the Altera Stratix III FPGA, which can support SerDes data rates up to 1.2 Gb/s, digital I/O clock rates of 700 MHz, and features over 45,000 logic elements and 1.836 Kb of memory. The GX3702 is supplied with an integral expansion board providing access to the FPGA's 160 I/Os and is pin for pin compatible with the NI PXI 7813R and 7811R FPGA cards . Alternatively, users can design their own custom expansion cards for specific applications - eliminating the need for additional external boards which are cumbersome and physically difficult to integrate into a test system. The design of the FPGA is done by using Altera's free Quartus II Web Edition tool set. Once the user has compiled the FPGA design, the configuration file can be loaded into the FPGA directly or via an on-board EEPROM.
