The "QSDrive Scan Kit" evaluation kit enables small and medium-sized companies in particular to operate ResoLin components from the Fraunhofer IPMS in accordance with the specifications without the time-consuming in-house development of control electronics. The evaluation kit consists of a ResoLin component – a cardanic MEMS scanner with a linear axis and an optional, orthogonally oriented resonant axis – and control electronics that enable the components to be operated with an optimized trajectory supplied. The component is held by a scan head, which is also included in the scope of delivery and which, thanks to its special construction, can easily be integrated into common optical test setups. Depending on the design of the MEMS component, controlled operation of the component and synchronized operation of the resonant axis are also possible. The function is controlled by software that communicates with the electronics via USB.

Having been assessed by Ford Detroit’s EMC expert, we are Australia’s only Ford (and NATA) accredited automotive EMC test laboratory. Others have tried, but none have succeeded. Ford does not accept reports from EMC labs that are not on the Ford list of accredited labs. The scope ranges from component to complete vehicle level EMC testing for Australian and overseas manufacturers. We also have a fully dedicated CISPR 25 Electronic Sub Assembly (ESA) chamber, another large CISPR 25 anechoic chamber for vehicle testing or susceptibility levels in excess of 500V/m. We possess a vast array of specific automotive EMC test equipment such as BCI’s, tri-plate’s, and striplines for susceptibility and emissions testing to meet the most stringent automotive EMC requirements. As shown on the V-I curve in figure 1, the LED has a forward voltage VF and a operating resistance (Rd). When using a resistor as loading, the V-I curve of the resistor is not able to simulate the V-I curve of the LED as shown in blue on figure 1. This may cause the LED driver to not start up due to the difference in V-I characteristic between the resistors and the LEDs. When using Electronic Loads, the CR and CV mode settings are set for when the LED is under stable operation and therefore, is unable to simulate turn on or PWM brightness control characteristics. This may cause the LED driver to function improperly or trigger it’s protection circuits. These testing requirements can be achieved when using a LEDs as a load; however, issues regarding the LED aging as well as different LED drivers may require different types of LEDs or a number of LEDs. This makes it inconvenient for mass production testing.
