Flexible Magnetic Coupler
FMC
The FMC (Flexible Magnetic Coupler) is a partial discharge sensor whose working principle is based on a direct magnetic coupling with the cable conductor and shield. It picks up a magnetic signal given by PD activity. His compact and robust design makes the FMC the optimal sensor for direct installation on cables and accessories such as joints and termination. This sensor has a sensitive side which has to face to the object under test, while the other side (shielded) reject the noise from the environment.

Thermal Testing And Analysis
Response Dynamics Vibration Engineering, Inc.
We have consulted on thermal issues ranging from conduction issues in TECs, thermal radiation modeling, and countless air cooled system issues relating to system performance, vibration, and acoustics noise. We use a wide array of thermocouple instrumentation, thermal imaging, flow measurements, as well as finite element analysis and analytic modeling to measure, design, and debug thermal and related issues. We often work on customer products in our Response Dynamics lab where we characterize the system, engineer solution options, and prototype solutions. We then work with the customer to work the winning solution into their quality control and manufacturing process.

Ultra Low Level DC Voltage Amplifiers
The EM A10 is a low level amplifier module for sensitive measurements, data collection and systems, where signals below 1 nanovolt may be measured. It is ideal for the input unit for precision voltage measuring systems, requiring voltage sensitivity for measuring low noise and low impedance sources. The noise level of the A10 is equivalent to a perfect resistor of about 20 ohms. When used with a digital voltmeter, steady one nanovolt digits may be displayed, with a response time constant of less than a second. The input voltage stability of the A10 is very high, with the drift around a nanovolt per degree C. The input connectors are made from pure copper. The input impedance is very high, and is time dependent, determined by the loop gain.

Mobile Sound Ranging Array
MSRA
In a peer to peer conflict, weapon location radars used for counter battery purposes will be extremely vulnerable. With aerial/satellite based surveillance available for the opponent, radars will be seen. With electronic warfare means being omnipresent, radars will be triangulated and jammed. There is an urgent need for 24/7 persistent surveillance with (preferably) passive sensors. With mobility being the key for survival on the battlefield, rapid re-deployable, or even truly mobile sensor capabilities are required. Therefore, the traditional sheer sound pressure based sound ranging capability becomes obsolete, as the triangular footprint of the sensor nodes is too large to be installed on a manned, or unmanned platform. With the trend towards longer ranges and “shoot and scoot” drills, the concept of capturing the muzzle blast noise becomes questionable, as the speed of sound is too slow to provide timely localizations.

GSM RF Interference Test System
Guangzhou Jumho Electric Co., Ltd.
Cell phones and other wireless devices radiate powerful electromagnetic fields that can cause interference and noise in microphone signals. The interference and noise is called RF interference, which is an unwanted “signal” that occurs at the same time and frequency as a data signal. The RF interference disrupts the flow of data and degrades quality-of-service. Jumho Electric provides a cost-effective RF interference test system for GSM interference level measurement of wireless microphone.

Dynamic Calibration for ROSS Streak Cameras
DynaCal
The DynaCal Optical Calibration Module (OCM) is designed exclusively for the Sydor ROSS Streak Camera to ensure accuracy, both over time and in situ, so you can be confident that the data from your shot is certified to be correlated to the calibration of your camera. The beauty of in situ calibration is that the cost of removing and resetting the camera is avoided—and so is the risk of the replacement of the camera and shifting or disturbing the sensitive nature of streak camera results. Only in situ calibration will reveal the real world effects of EMR, gravity, electronic noise and more when they distort your camera results.
