The voltmeter included in the kit, the “Model IA” voltmeter, is designed for ease of use by meter readers and corrosion technicians alike and the voltmeter comes with an integrated RE-5 reference electrode attached for “metallic structure-to-soil” potential difference readings. The kit also includes a special test lead that has a brass thumb screw on one end which allows the test lead to substitute for the RE-5 reference electrode. This substitution allows the voltmeter to take “structure-to-structure” potential difference readings. The voltmeter offers a 0 - 2VDC range with a 10MΩ input impedance and the analog display presents a color divided scale for convenient indication as to whether or not a carbon-steel structure is receiving a suitable level of cathodic protection, with respect to the accepted 0.85V (850mV) threshold value.

The NO-CL method for Ozone has several advantages over the conventional UV absorption technology, including the avoidance of positive and commonly found interferrents such as VOCs, fine particulates, Mercury, turpines, ClO2, and others. If these pollutants are present in the atmosphere, it can cause UV absorption analyzers to give an artificially high Ozone measurement. The innovative T265 combines speed of response, sensitivity and stability of our proven nitrogen oxide analyzer, with a simple user interface, to provide reliable ozone measurements under the harshest conditions.

The series includes produts between one and 24 synchronous channels. DDS – Direct Digital Synthesis – is a method for generating sine waves from a single, fixed-frequency reference clock and is widely used in signal generation applications. The DDS functionality implemented on Spectrum Instrumentation’s AWG platform is based on the principle of adding multiple “DDS cores” to generate a mul?ti-carrier (multi-tone) signal, with each carrier having its own well-defined frequency, amplitude and phase. In addition to these static parameters, there are also build in dynamic parameters like frequency slope and amplitude slope to allow for intrinsic linear changes for multiple cores.
