The UPS plugs into a standard 120 Vac, 60 hertz receptacle for charging and indicates percent battery capacity remaining on a digital meter located on the front panel. The UPS can also be charged by a solar cell, sold separately or can be plugged into a vehicles cigarette lighter receptacle for use in remote areas.
