The base FastX-APU, is a two thirds length raw form factor PCIe (X4) Gen2 board with either six basic 85 MHz Camera Link Channels up to two extended full Camera Link camera interfaces. An auxilliary I/O connector provides a header for adaptation of other high speed interfaces such as GigEx4, high speed analog formats such as UXGA or DVI, or CoaXPress. The front-end data is formatted and preprocessed by a Kintex FPGA before being sent to the PCIe (X4) Gen 2 switch to the host or the AMD APU.

EDXIR-Analysis Contaminant Finder/Material Inspector
EDXIR-Analysis software is specially designed to perform qualitative analysis using data acquired by an energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) fluorescence spectrometer and a Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FTIR). This software is used to perform an integrated analysis of data from FTIR, which is excellent at the identification and qualification of organic compounds, and from EDX, which is excellent at the elementary analysis of metals, inorganic compounds and other content. It then pursues identification results and the degree of matching. it can also be used to perform EDX or FTIR data analysis on its own. The library used for data analysis (containing 485 data as standard) is original to Shimadzu, and was created through cooperation with water supply agencies and food manufacturers. Digital VIS-SWIR Camera
OWL 1280
Using a 1280 x 1024 InGaAs sensor from SCD, the OwL 1280 offers visible extension from 0.6µm to 1.7µm to enable high sensitivity imaging. The 10µm x 10µm pixel pitch enables the highest resolution imaging. It will offer less than 28 electrons readout noise (rms) and with a high intra-scene dynamic range of 51dB, this enables simultaneous capture of bright & dark portions of a scene. Available with a 12 bit medium Camera Link digital output, the Owl 1280 will run from 10 to 60Hz. The camera features an on-board Automated Gain Control (AGC) which enables the best contrast image from low to bright light. The camera also has an on-board intelligent 3 point Non Uniform Correction (NUC) providing the highest quality images. As with all Raptor cameras, the Owl 1280 is ultra compact and rugged. The camera sensor temperature is stabilised to 15°C and the camera does not have a fan.
