The Creonic L-band RF receiver FMC card allows to receive RF signals between 925 and 2,250 MHz. It is ideally suited for satellite communication with standard satellite dishes since it includes a DiSEqC driver IC for LNB controlling. The board allows to build receivers with symbol rates of up to 100 Msymbols/s. Due to the low-pin-count (LPC) FMC connector it can be used with any FMC carrier board that supports VADJ=1.8V. The card will be available from Q2/2017.

The output is 16-bit data and it can be obtained through SPI interface on LTC2376-16 from the FPGA on the FMC carrier board. One trigger input is provided for capture control.

Connectivity is via BNC connectors on the main FMC PCB, BNC connectors on an adaptor PCB, and two 20-way latching DIL pin headers. The adapter PCB is optional and only required if interfaces other than analog video are needed.

The FMC667 is a Digital Signal Processor FMC daughter card based on the Texas Instruments TMS320C6678 device. The FMC667 daughter card is mechanically and electrically compliant with the FMC standard (ANSI/VITA 57.1), and can be used in a conduction cooled environment. This FMC is equipped with power supply and temperature monitoring and offers several power-down modes to switch off unused functions and peripheral interfaces. The SMT700 is one of the first of a new range of Sundance cards that includes a direct connection to SLB (Sundance Local Bus) compatible mezzanine card, without the need for a Sundance TIM. This enables a variety of cards to be added to a system, for example extra Ethernet ports, video in/out, High speed ADC / DAC etc. Data from these extra cards (along with data from the SMT700’s own inputs – up to 1Gb/s Ethernet, 2.5Gb/s optical links, and RSL links) can be processed via the Virtex 5, or by another linked card or module.
