Thorlabs’ motion control products are separated into manual and motorized linear and rotation stages, multiaxis platforms, actuators, and controllers. The manual and motorized stages can frequently be configured into 1-, 2-, or 3-axis solutions. Since many of the stages are available in either manual or motorized versions, creating a custom system is easy. For nanopositioning applications like waveguide and fiber coupling, our line of multiaxis flexure stages are ideal. Positek linear sensors use our own patented inductive sensing technology packaged in very durable housings. With a comprehensive range measuring from 1mm to 800mm and most products available with intrinsically safe approval. Linear Hall Sensor

The output of a hall effect sensor is a voltage which changes in proportion to the shaft extension. A constant voltage is required across the supply and ground wires of the sensor. The sensor consists of a Hall Effect element, and a shaft which houses a magnet. When the position of the sensor changes relative to the shaft, the change in magnetic field in the sensor results in a change in output voltage.
