Engine Exhaust Particle Sizer

TSI's Engine Exhaust Particle Sizer (EEPS™) 3090 spectrometer uses an array of sensitive electrometers, combined with three proprietary data inversion matrices, to provide real-time particle size data in 32 size channels (16 channels per decade). The data inversion matrices allow the researcher to optimize size distribution accuracy for specific particle types (soot, default and compact), and matrices can be applied at the time of measurement or in a post-processing environment. The EEPS spectrometer does not include any built-in sample dilution, giving the user maximum flexibility and independence with respect to sample conditioning. However, for measuring solid particles from engines, TSI now offers the Porous Tube Thermodiluter (PTT) 3098, a fully integrated sample conditioning solution for the EEPS spectrometer; the pair of them together is the Engine Exhaust Particle Measurement System (EEPMS) 3095.

The E-DRIV® NF-Series angle and auto reverse models is designed for installing heli-coil screw thread inserts, as well as light tapping and gauging applications. The assembly power tools feature the brushless motor technology and is engineered for precision torque control. These installation tools feature the ability to set and adjust the speed, the rotation (number of turns), as well as program an auto reverse function. Using the assembly tool in conjunction with a torque arm enhances the installation process. The electric screwdriver offers an adjustable speed setting. The NF power tool is ESD certified, ensuring less than 1 Ohm at the bit tip. ESD management assures product quality, cost savings and a reduction in overall ESD failures.

ESP, or Engineering Support Platform, is a low cost, powerful and versatile platform for the development, deployment and support of FPGA Applications. ESP is powered by DSX core, ARC’s core element for the development and deployment of digital and mixed signal systems. The standard system contains 2 custom FPGA system, often configured in combination where one acts as the application firmware, and the other is used for test. But the system is expandable and configurable in any combination to solve any problem in a digital, analog or mixed signal system. The FPGAs can be configured to generate, analyze, process and/or output complex signals at a wide range of voltages, frequencies and serial protocols. It has been used to develop solutions for Radar systems, testers, Pattern Generation, digital signal processing and generating, Video processing, and many more. ESP comes as a desktop or rack mounted solution, and no special interfaces are needed.
