IXI Technology’s highly-accurate card provides time down to 62.5ns resolution in UNIX format. Its time-sourced, disciplined, voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO) or optional CSAC not only allows it to provide sub-second resolution, but also to “flywheel” during the absence or loss of carrier. The module has a status LED that indicates when the internal time is synchronized with the input time code. The card provides a programmable offset on its internal time from the input time source. The generated IRIG-B or 1588 output can be configured to be synchronous to the chosen input time source or configured to use the best available time source.

The Lumistar LS-28-DRSM Series Multi-Mode Multi-Band Receiver/Combiner/TM Processing Unit is designed using ruggedized packaging to survive severe airborne conditions. The LS-28-DRSM is available in several configurations: 1) Airborne receiver only (RF to bits), 2) Airborne bit synchronizer only, 3) RF to TM Processing and Display (RF to bits to UDP decom to LAN Client Displays). Models with receivers are available in any band form 200 MHz to 7 GHz with S, lower L and C bands as standards. Other RF bands are available, please consult the factory for details. EtherCAT is an open real-time Ethernet Master/Slave network developed by Beckhoff. Today, it is an open standard, managed by the EtherCAT technology group. EtherCAT sets new limits for real-time performance since it processes 1000 distributed I/O in 30 µs or 100 axis in 100 µs using twisted pair or fiber optic cable. Regarding topology, EtherCAT supports a simple low cost line structure, a tree structure, daisy chaining or drop lines - no expensive infrastructure components are required. Alternatively the classic more expensive switched star topology can be used.
