The Keysight 34938A is a high power general-purpose switch module for the 34980A Multifunction Switch/Measure Unit. It has 20 independent single-pole, single-throw (SPST) 5A relays. This module is used to cycle power to products under test, control indicator and status lights, and to actuate external power relays and solenoids. Its 30VDC/250VAC, 5A contacts can handle up to 150W on a single channel, enough for many power line switching applications. Standard 50-pin Dsub connectors allow for use with standard cables, terminal blocks, or mass interconnect solutions.

The Keysight 8494G dc to 4 GHz programmable step attenuator offers exceptional repeatability and reliability. Attenuation is provided in 1 dB steps from 0 to 11 dB. Precision gold-plated leaf springs ensure long-life (over 5 million cycles) and very high attenuator repeatability (typically 0.01 dB). To improve measurement accuracy, NIST traceable data (SWR and attenuation) is available as Option UK6. A maximum switching time of 20 ms (including contact settling) speeds automatic testing. Custom step attenuator/switch combinations are possible. The Keysight 11716A/B/C interconnect kits provide quick connection of Keysight 8494/5/6/7 1 dB and 10 dB step attenuators in series for greater dynamic range with 1 dB steps.

The SMT adapter consists of standard high temperature FR4 with plugged via technology, eutectic SN63PB37 solder balls or SAC lead free solder balls and threaded inserts for mounting the socket. The 9025 VXI Receiver is a 25-module solution designed for use with VPC pre-wired interconnect adapters, but can also accommodate a combination of pre-wired interconnect adapters and discrete-wired modules using retainer blocks.1-4 modules attach to an interconnect adapter which in turn is attached to the VXI card. This connector “funnel” forms a complete VXI module, which is easily inserted or removed from the VXI mainframe for maximum flexibility in testing applications. The interconnect adapter also provides room for driver sensors. External cabling to the card is done with a cable clamp or connector located on the top or bottom of the adapter.
