Camera Option for Nosecone Module
The Point Grey Grasshopper digital camera provides high resolution, high sensitivity sensors, yielding optimal imaging for underwater photography. Housed in the nosecone, the camera takes photos at a rate of up to 3.5 frames per second. Images are stored on a compact flash card and can be viewed through the Gavia Control Centre.
