PC/104 SBCs are very compact and highly integrated computers. This SBC features the 22nm, Intel® Bay Trail SoC. The board provides a DDR3L SO-DIMM socket, a PC/104 connector, a PCI-104 connector, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, up to two Gigabit Ethernet ports, up to two SATA 3 Gb/s ports, one dedicated HD-Audio panel connector, one VGA port, one LVDS port, up to four COM ports, one mini-PCIe slot (with one USB 2.0 port included). The CMx-BTx can be run with only 5 volts and is capable of running operating systems like DOS, Windows XP/7/8 in either 32-bit or 64-bit configuration, Linux, VxWorks, and others. The PCIe-FIW62 is an IEEE 1394b (FireWire 800) interface card which provides two high-speed FireWire 800 ports with data transfer rates up to 800 Mb/s on a PCI ExpressR x1 lane. The PCIe-FIW62 provides two direct-connect IEEE 1394b bilingual connectors with a screw-lock mechanism. These screw-lock connectors provide a reliable connection between the PCIe-FIW62 and up to two IEEE 1394b cameras. A 4-pin ATX power connector on the PCIe-FIW62 supports IEEE 1394b cameras that draw power directly from the frame grabber. Each port has a green LED on the front panel that will illuminate when the PCIe-FIW62 is connected to a IEEE 1394b camera for convenient identification of channel connection status.

Dual independent display output is via two DVI ports and an onboard Realtek ALC262 High Definition Audio Codec provides analog audio output from the audio controller on the CPU blade. The cPCI-R6500 requires a compatible 6U CompactPCI backplane with rear I/O support and correctly configured CPU blade.
