Trainings, Seminars, Workshops
To make your staff able to face daily tasks and handle with high productivity is in the center of our trainings. Especially when a new test sytems starts to run it is extremely important that the personnel can operate appropriately from the beginning.Our workshops are designed as classroom trainings so everybody can concentrate completely on the workshop contents without being bothered by day-to-day business or other troubles.An alternative is the training in-house so we can look after individual and concrete problems directly on-site at the running test system.No matter if we teach in our rooms or in-house we emphasize to teach concrete practical content. The participants will spend at least 50% of their time with pracitcal questions or problems. Small groups ensure the individual care of each. We offer trainings in english or german language.

Repair
There might be various reasons why you run into trouble with your test system and need support. No matter if your test system is not operating any more, if the forklift damaged it or you pressed a wrong button during the software-update - we are at your disposal to help. Usually the self test of the system helps further or if you agree we can help on a remote basis.If this does not help we deliver as soon as possible spare parts or send a repairperson. Our suppliers all offer support, delivery or even subsidiaries wordwide. This enables our technician to bring the spare part either with him or to send the exchange device directly to your place.

Development
If possible we use standard market instruments and components. However not every task can be solved technically and economically reasonable. That is when our development department comes to place. Our colleagues already developed many approaches from little, practicable assemblies up to holistic measurement features. These solutions are customer oriented and together with a special firmware this is often a useful solution.

Multi Channel Optical Fibre Verification
The multi-channel optical fibre test system is used in the development and qualification of single mode optical fibres. The fibres are exposed to environmental influences in a climatic chamber in order to analyse the data on insertion loss and reflection. In addition, the current temperature in the climatic chamber is documented. Insertion loss measurement is performed with the help of an optical power meter, laser sources and optical switches. An Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) from Exfo is used for the reflection measurements. The system was designed for the simultaneous characterization of 15 sample fibres and one reference fibre.
