LXinstruments Magpie 2 is an advanced evaluation and data mining application for our test database. The data to be evaluated can be pre-selected using complex, easily configurable filters. Based on the selected data, reports and trend analyzes can then be created and statistical investigations, machine and process capability analyzes can be carried out. The administration of the database is also easily possible for appropriately authorized users via a graphical user interface.

LXinstruments Magpie is a user-friendly evaluation and data mining application for our test database. The data to be evaluated can be preselected via complex, easily configurable filters. Based on the selected data, it is then possible to create reports and perform statistical evaluations as well as machine capability analyses. The graphical GUI supports easy administration of the database by authorized users.The LXinstruments Magpie evaluation licenses are always linked to the data source, which would generally mean a test system. The test data generated by the test system will be marked as available for evaluation while it is stored in the database.

Testing the protective conductor is indispensable for assemblies, devices and systems of protection class I because it reduces the risk of life-threatening electrical accidents.The test checks whether the protective earth (PE) fulfils the criteria specified in the standards and can correctly discharge the current occurring in case of a fault.The ground continuity test checks whether the protective earth conductor is connected continuously to all metallic enclosure parts that can be touched by the user. The test can be carried out with low currents and voltages (simple continuity test).

Hipot Tests

The hipot test (high potential test) or dielectric withstand test, is used to determine the insulation and dielectric strength. It is carried out on modules, devices and systems of protection class I + II. In this test, the insulation of the test object is subjected to greater stress by the high voltage than in normal operation. This means that devices can be supplied with both mains voltage and DC voltage. With the soft-on-off function, the PDU can be controlled remotely via remote buttons and other potential-free contacts. We carry single-phase devices for the 16 A connection to three-phase devices for the 3x63 A or for the 125 A connection.

The ergonomic design ensures fatigue-free operation even during repetitive work sequences. LED Burn-In Test

Burn-in system, based on LXI instrumentation, for concurrent testing of up to 80 DUTs in a climatic chamber. Devices to be tested include modern light emitting diodes and LED modules.The system consists of 2 control cabinets, each with 40 independent supply and measurement channels. Each channel can be configured individually via the operator software (current or voltage, including the relevant limit values). The software supports logging of current and voltage values for each DUT on all 80 channels with a sampling rate of <1s. Additionally, the software and system also support digital I/O channels, e. g. for controlling the climatic chamber. Inputs for connecting temperature sensors are also provided.

The test item ( DUT ) is examined under various operating conditions for its properties, function and usability. Typical areas of application can be found where the usual complexity of test sequences has to be processed. The test sequencer is therefore suitable for small and medium-sized systems where special functions of other sequencers are not required. The free, cross-platform, open source developer platform .NET serves as a starting point. The integrated WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) framework ensures a user-friendly program interface.

HV Enclosures with Integrated Safety Test

The HV test hood according to Performance Level e (ISO 13849-1), developed by us according to the EN50191 standard (erection and operation of fixed and temporary electrical test installations), offers the highest safety for the operator. The large test chamber is enclosed with a hood made of sturdy, highly insulating and transparent plastic. During the test, there is a clear view of the test specimen. A signal light visually indicates safe opening when the light is “green”. “Red light” symbolises danger, the hood cannot be opened due to the safety interlock. The safety switch also ensures that the hood cannot be opened during the test. This means that the test hood fulfils all the required specifications for compulsory contact protection.
