TE0720s are industrial-grade SoC modules integrating a Xilinx Zynq Z020 SoC, a gigabit Ethernet transceiver (physical layer), 8 Gbit (1 Gbyte) DDR3 SDRAM with 32-bit width, 32 Mbyte Flash memory for configuration and operation, and powerful switch-mode power supplies for all on-board voltages. A large number of configurable I/Os is provided via rugged high-speed stacking strips. All modules in 5 x 4 cm form factor are fully mechanically and largely electrically compatible among them. All this on a tiny footprint, smaller than a credit card, at the most competitive price. A free and open embedded development suite with reference designs is included.

The SMT700 is one of the first of a new range of Sundance cards that includes a direct connection to SLB (Sundance Local Bus) compatible mezzanine card, without the need for a Sundance TIM. This enables a variety of cards to be added to a system, for example extra Ethernet ports, video in/out, High speed ADC / DAC etc. Data from these extra cards (along with data from the SMT700’s own inputs – up to 1Gb/s Ethernet, 2.5Gb/s optical links, and RSL links) can be processed via the Virtex 5, or by another linked card or module.

The FMC107 is an eight-channel ADC FMC (FPGA Mezzanine Card) which is fully compliant with the VITA 57.1-2010 standard. The FMC107 card provides eight 12-bit 65 MSPS A/D channels which can be sampled by an internal clock source (optionally locked to an external reference) or an externally supplied sample clock. A trigger input for customized sampling control is also available. The FMC107 has the LPC (Low-Pin Count) 160-Pin connector, front panel I/O, and is conduction cooled compliant. The board is also available with Mil-I-46058c compliant Conformal Coating.
