The FMC204 is a quad channel DAC FMC. The FMC204 provides four channels of 16-bit D/A @ 1 GSPS enabling simultaneous sampling at a maximum rate of 1 GSPS. The sample clock can be supplied externally through a coax connection or supplied by an internal clock source (optionally locked to an external reference). Additionally a trigger input for customized sampling control is available. The FMC204 daughter card is mechanically and electrically compliant to FMC standard (ANSI/VITA 57.1).

The offset adjustment does not clip the signal at the highest range (+/- 5V). That is why the “max input signal amplitude” has been specified as 10V, even though the selection of signal ranges only goes up to 5V. This way, a +10V pulse with -5V offset could still be digitised without clipping.

Single-ended external clock, differential external clock or an internal clock from the FMC carrier board can be selected at the FMC for the AD converter through fine clock generator ADI AD9518-3.

The Creonic L-band RF receiver FMC card allows to receive RF signals between 925 and 2,250 MHz. It is ideally suited for satellite communication with standard satellite dishes since it includes a DiSEqC driver IC for LNB controlling. The board allows to build receivers with symbol rates of up to 100 Msymbols/s. Due to the low-pin-count (LPC) FMC connector it can be used with any FMC carrier board that supports VADJ=1.8V. The FMC1831 is an FMC module designed to be compatible with AMC, VPX, PCI, PCIe, CompactPCI and PC/104 carriers. The module has two dual channel AD9361 transceivers with a maximum sampling frequency of 122.8 MHz over a bandwidth of 200 KHz to 56 MHz. A reference clock can be either externally supplied or be generated from an internal PLL. All input and output signals are connected via SSMC connectors for secure connectivity and signal integrity.
