The ASA240 Analog Signature Analyser will assist you in testing, diagnosing and troubleshooting printed circuit boards without powering them (known as ‘power-off testing’).Connected via USB to a compatible PC running our own free software, with the ASA240 you can easily capture, measure and compare known good signatures (from your ‘golden’ board) with signatures from your suspect board. Nitrosamines are carcinogenic compounds that can be found and formed in many products.  This has been a particular issue in the pharmaceutical industry recently.  Traditional approaches to the analysis, such as by mass spec, have been challenging due to the low detection levels required, the possibility of false positives, or even missing.  This system takes a unique approach of using the combination of a chemical reaction targeting nitrosamine compounds, then detection by a detector with very high selectivity and sensitivity for nitro/nitroso compounds. Rather than speciating the various nitrosamines present, the system gives a single quantitative result down to 1 ppb for the total nitrosamine content. This means both volatile and non-volatile nitrosamines are measured at the same time. This process is automated to allow a high sample throughput.  This makes it ideal for screening a large number of samples rapidly.

IVTS In-Vehicle Test Set

The in-vehicle test set was developed to successively measure several active RF amplifiers installed in the vehicle as well as different antenna structures. It offers the possibility to connect 12 DUTs. The DUTs can be connected to an external spectrum analyser via a 1 to 12 RF multiplexer. Each DUT can be individually switched and supplied with an adjustable voltage via a bias-tee integrated in the system. The individual bias voltages and currents are recorded by the IVTS and can be called up on an interactive control panel or via Ethernet and SCPI commands. The complete system can be powered by rechargeable battery and can be operated either via Ethernet, fibre optics or WLAN.

The STAR Fire Mk3 can transmit and receive both SpaceWire and SpaceFibre traffic; it can interconnect SpaceWire equipment to a SpaceFibre network; and it can operate as a SpaceFibre link analyser, capable of unobtrusively capturing and displaying SpaceFibre traffic. MICTOR connectors on the rear of the unit allow decoded SpaceFibre signals to be viewed on an external logic analyser. Integration with external equipment is possible using SMB connectors.
