  • Fiber Optic Sensors

Leuze electronic GmbH + Co. KG

Plastic fiber optics are suitable for universal applications with low space requirements for object detection. Glass fiber optics are used in demanding environmental conditions with high temperatures and are resistant to chemicals. For radiation through foils or applications with high light power, they offer further advantages through the especially low damping. The flexible fiber optics with various head shapes can be integrated in nearly any system design. The detection range is dependent on the fiber optics and amplifiers used. Fiber optics can be used with the throughbeam principle or with scanning function. As a fiber array with multiple light beams, they can be used to detect especially small objects.

  • Mobile I/O Expander & Keypad Controller

    Analog Devices Inc.

Analog Devices' family of mobile I/O expanders are ideal for smartphone designs and portable devices that require a large extended keypad and/or expanded I/Os such as inventory scanners, medical equipment, and meter readers. Microprocessors in portable systems are GPIO constrained due to the number of functions they must interface with and control. They are also power hungry, making them inefficient for debouncing, polling, and key press scanning algorithms. ADI’s family of mobile I/O expanders offloads key scan and GPIO functions from the CPU, freeing up the processor for higher priority functions while saving energy.

The MMX-6 is a simple to use hand-held Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge with the ability to measure through paint and coatings and eliminate the thickness of the paint or coating. The MMX-6 uses a dual element style transducer. With the single press of a button, the MMX-6 can be switched between pit or flaw mode ( pulse-echo), and through paint/coatings mode (echo-echo) for maximum inspection efficiency. The MMX-6 is equipped with a bundle of features to make your job easier: Alarm mode, high speed scanning, and data send are the main features of the MMX-6. The MMX-6 comes as a complete kit, ready to use, and is backed by Dakota Ultrasonics 5 year limited warranty.

  • Imaging Modules

    Teledyne e2v

Teledyne e2v has developed compact MIPI modules which feature our own high performance CMOS image sensors inside a pre-focused, industrial-grade scanning optic. As a turnkey sensor/optics for imaging systems, these modules offers customers significant reduction in development time and cost savings. Only a few screws are needed to mount the module, with simple connection to the image processing system through an FPC cable connector. Software development efforts can also be reduced by using some limited API-layer Linux software drivers. This enables the module to be seamlessly interfaced to popular ISP platforms.

  • Software

    Guzik Technical Enterprises

Besides the primary WITE32 Test Environment package at the heart of our spinstand-based test systems, Guzik offers a variety of software options to provide additional measurement accuracy and analysis. Control and Automation software enhances various electro-mechanical capabilities of the test system (such as servo accuracy), and the available suite of Analysis software tools provides deep insight into the drive component under evaluation. Adjacent Track Interference, 3D Pulse Profile, Media Scanning and Bit Error Rate are examples of some of the optional additions. Some software tools require the WDM5000 Waveform Digitizer to be part of the overall test system.

  • Contactless Laser Extensometers

    Jinan Testing Equipment IE Corporation

Model LE-05 and LE-15 extensometers measure strain optically, without contacting the specimen, using laser diode technology. The extensometers are self-contained and portable. They may be interfaced with a variety of testing machines and data acquisition systems using the ±10V analog output or bi-directional RS-232 serial port. Operation may be local or remote. A digital display is included. The scanning beam is always perpendicular to the specimen, unlike most laser extensometers. This eliminates errors when viewing through windows in chambers. It also minimizes sensitivity to the distance between the extensometer and the sample. Because the unit measures reflected light, no receiver is required behind the sample.

  • Railway Wheel Number Identification Complex

    ViTec Co. Ltd

Our automated scanning system is based on smart 3D cameras SICK Ruler E 600. Information about the wheel profile from the camera via a high-speed Gigabit Ethernet interface is sent to a dedicated computer for processing, detecting and recognizing the alphanumeric sequence applied to a specific section of the wheel. Synchronization with the rotation system is carried out by means of a high-precision encoder, with the conveyor system - via the Profibus DP interface. The complex is designed to scan wheels of various standard sizes and allows with a high resolution (tenths of a millimeter), without readjustment, to read numbers from wheels at a radius of 100 to 600 mm in 45 seconds.
