  • Gated Integrator | Boxcar Averager

GIA100 - Artifex Engineering GmbH & Co. KG

The GIA100 gated integrator employs dual monolithic switched integrators. When paired with a photodiode, the boxcar amplifier measures the energy of single optical pulses. The GIA100 design results in very low leakage error, charge injection error and pickup. The precision input stage may be configured for current or voltage inputs.

  • AC Susceptibility

    Cryogenic Ltd.

The AC Susceptometer option uses a small primary excitation coil to apply an AC field to a sample (typically 1mT at frequencies from 0.1 Hz 10000 Hz). A pair of secondary pick-up coils positioned close to the excitation coils are used to detect the sample response. The resultant signal is measured using a Lock-In amplifier with the in-phase and out-of-phase components of the signal corresponding to the real and imaginary components of the AC Susceptibility of the sample. An additional compensation coil is used to eliminate background signals.

  • True RMS RF Millivoltmeter

    3440A - Ballentine Laboratories, Inc.

The 3440A measures the true rms of low level RF and microwave signals to over 1GHz. High rms accuracy, traceable to NIST, is assured regardless of waveshape. Common calibration errors are eliminated through temperature compensation of the probe detector diodes; double shielding protects the interchangeable probes from rough handling and pickup. Relative gain or loss measurements are simplified by a 0 dB reference adjustment. DC output proportional to the ac input is provided for analog recorders and to allow operation as an ac-dc converter.

  • Power Monitor, AC-Powered, Field Adjustable

    YMA/YQA - North Atlantic Industries

NAI's YMA and YQA Power Monitors are used to monitor voltage, frequency, and phase characteristics of single- or three-phase power lines. This allows normal operation of system loads when the power-line characteristics are within predetermined limits.High and low voltage and frequency limits, and "pick-up" and "drop-out" time delay are field-adjustable using potentiometers. These power monitors are ideally suited for rugged defense and industrial applications.

  • 4-20mA Converters

4026 - SPECTEC Innovative Sensor Solutions

Model 4026 Freq to Voltage or Freq to Current Converter accepts frequency input from any magnetic speed sensor, digital magnetic pickup or Hall effect zero speed sensors. Input and output configurations are field selectable. Input range is adjustable between 1100 Hz - 10 kHz or 75Hz to 1100 Hz. Output selection can be configured as 4-20mA converter, 10-50mA converter, 0-5 V FTV converter or 0-10 V FTV converter. ZERO and SPAN adjustments easily calibrate to almost any measurement range, with little interaction between the adjustments.

  • Motorcycle and ATV Dynamometers

    DYNOmite Dynamometer

Wide medium inertia roll assembly with our machined-in "traction grooves," quick-adjust wheelbase front mount, dual roll-on ramps, tie downs, casters, roller guards, eddy-current absorber (with a step-up drive), full-bridge torque arm transducer, electronic auto-load control, DYNOmite data-acquisition computer, DYNO-MAX software, inductive RPM pickup, AC power supply, and data wiring harness.

  • Turbine Flow Meters

    AW Gear Meters

Axial turbine flow meters are designed with wear resistant internal components to provide trouble-free operation and a long service life. Fluid entering the flow meter is first conditioned by the inlet flow straightener which reduces turbulence in the fluid. The moving fluid causes the rotor to spin at a speed that is proportional to its flow rate. As the turbine blades on the rotor pass through the magnetic field of the pickup, an electronic pulse is generated.

  • Tachometers/Stroboscopes

    Shenzhen Graigar Technology Co.,Ltd.

Measurement of the speed of a rotating shaft is a common requirement in many industrial and laboratory applications. Such measurements have usually been carried out in the past with the help of contact type tachometers with friction drive. More recently digital optical non-contact tachometers have been designed which count the reflected pulses from a white patch on the shaft and then display the speed in rpm. The light source is usually a filament lamp operating with dry cells leading to limited life and illumination. A similar ideawith magnetic pick-up from a particular area of the shaft has also been used for speed measurement.

  • C Series Frequency Input Module

    NI

The C Series Frequency Input Module is designed to acquire isolated frequency inputs from magnetic pickup sensors, variable reluctance sensors, Hall effect sensors, and other transducers with a frequency output. Additionally, the C Series Frequency Input Module provides isolation, configurable thresholds, selectable filtering, and embedded counter measurement logic. These measurements can be synchronized with other frequency, analog, digital, and counter measurements in a single acquisition.

  • Water Brake Chassis Dynamometers

    Taylor Dynamometer, Inc.

Chassis water brake dynos (also known as hydraulic dynamometers) can be operated continuously to resolve overheating, fuel mileage and drivetrain issues. Taylor’s eight models accommodating 50 to 1,100 hp at 40 mph enable testing of single-axle diesel pickup trucks, RVs and buses up through the largest tandem-axle on-highway trucks and buses. Tap into our deep product and applications knowledge to help you choose and make the most of the right water brake system for current and future needs.

  • PWC Dynamometers

    DYNOmite Dynamometer

Mount the DYNOmite absorber (and appropriate pump adapter) in place of the boat's standard nozzle and cone. Each pump adapter (sold separately) incorporates a shaft, driven by the impeller (without impeller removal). A load control valve (fed from your " garden hose) allows you to regulate RPM by varying absorber drag (while holding the throttle open). You can simulate running at any MPH from idle to top end. The DYNOmite's computer captures the engine's RPM from an (integral absorber mounted) magnetic RPM pickup. Torque readings come directly from a full-bridge (temperature- compensated) torque arm. Results are never estimated from vague hydraulic-pump pressures.
