  • IEC 61850 Testing

HAOMAI Electric Test Equipment Co., Ltd.

IEC 61850 is an international standard defining communication protocols for intelligent electronic devices at electrical substations. It is a part of the International Electrotechnical Commission's (IEC) Technical Committee 57 reference architecture for electric power systems.

  • Smart Analog

    Renesas Electronics Corp.

Sensing devices play an increasingly important role in many areas of modern life — at our workplace, in industry, at home, as well as our personal mobile devices. In consumer applications, sensor-based electronic control provides us with additional safety, health information, power savings, and overall convenience. And for more complex systems in industry and commercial applications, the trend is toward more intelligent sensors that deliver more precise and "intelligent" data to improve product quality, increase operational savings, and reduce energy consumption.

  • Protection Relays

    ROCON

ROCON designs and manufactures large variety of world-class intelligent electronic devices (IEDs) for relay protection and automation. They are applicable for all kind of utilities in industry - for all power system facilities (in production, distribution and transmission of energy to the end user) for transport companies, for factory substations etc.

  • Pressure Sensors

    SICK Sensor Intelligence

Universal pressure measurement for liquids and gasesSICK offers a portfolio of electronic pressure measurement transmitters and switches that can be adapted to individual customer requirements because of intelligent and varied configuration options. Typically, all SICK devices feature the use of high-quality materials, rugged properties, and precise measurement technology, in addition to being easy to operate and install.

  • GNSS Satellite Clock

TTM 01-G - Tekron International Ltd

The TTM 01-G is a reliable and accurate GPS and GLONASS (GNSS) clock with sub-microsecond timing that is used to synchronize IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices) in the power industry and other industries where precise and reliable timing is required. As with all Tekron GPS clocks, the TTM 01-G has electrically isolated outputs, providing excellent noise immunity. The TTM 01-G supports both NTP/SNTP (IEC 61850) and PTP (IEEE 1588 v2).

  • SCADA Communication

    A. Eberle GmbH & Co. KG

From a technical point of view, communication is the process of exchanging information between a transmitter and a receiver. To achieve this, the transmitter encodes a message and transmits it to the receiver. The receiver can only decode the message if it knows the protocol. The setup of the communication between A. Eberle IED's (Intelligent Electronic Device) and a SCADA system becomes more easy if all partners communicate in such a way that all queries regarding the protocol are clarified before or during the system design process (at latest before commissioning).

  • Satellite Clock

TCG 01-G - Tekron International Ltd

The TCG 01-G is a highly accurate, full featured GPS and GLONASS (GNSS) clock. With enhanced cyber security features that support NERC CIP requirements, the TCG 01-G is designed for use in modern day smart grid / smart substations, electricity distribution, transmission, generation protection and control systems. The clock synchronizes multiple IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices) within a network, including protection relays and remote telemetry units to enable accurate time stamping. The TCG 01-G supports IEEE 1588 v2 (PTP) and IEC 61850.

  • Programmable Switching Power Supplies

    PeakTech Prüf- und Messtechnik GmbH

In addition to presets for current and voltage values, time programs with intervals and the number of runs can also be created directly on the device or using the included PC software. For operation with a PC, the switching power supply is equipped with a USB and RS-485 interface. A PC connected to the RS-485 interface enables the control of up to 32 power supplies. A USB interface on the back of the device connects to a Windows PC. The intelligent fan control adjusts the speed of rotation to the respective temperature and output power. The output voltage and current limit can also be set in the open circuit without a connected load. Due to its high reliability and the programming functions, this power supply series is ideal for professional users from industry, control and regulation technology or the electronics laboratory.

  • IO-Link

    Analog Devices Inc.

The IO-Link® interface simplifies communication to smart sensors and actuators, combining signaling with power-over-cable technology. It has become one of the key devices as industrial automation systems are growing more interconnected and intelligent to accommodate demands for centralized control and optimized production. Analog Devices implements both device PHY and master PHY interfaces (COM1/COM2/COM3). Designing with harsh industrial environments in mind, the master 4-port IO-Link power and communications interface, as well as the IO-Link transceivers featuring Integrated Step-Down Regulators and LDO with ±60V cable interface protection provide the required ruggedness. Optimum EMC performance is achieved with adjustable current limit and slew rate transmitters. Automatic wake-up request (WURQ) generation and an output supply current boosting capability for device startup are also available. Additional components integrate a 300 mA step-down (buck) regulator and a 150 mA LDO to supply all the power required for internal electronics in an connected sensor or actuator.

  • Satellite Clock

TCG 02-G - Tekron International Ltd

The TCG 02-G is a highly accurate, full featured GPS and GLONASS (GNSS) clock. Offering multiple oscillator options, Time Code and Frequency outputs, it fits virtually any timing application. With enhanced cyber security features that support NERC CIP requirements, the TCG 02-G is designed for use in modern day smart grid / smart substations, electricity distribution, transmission, and generation protection. In addition industrial application systems and traditional substations are equally provided for. This master clock synchronizes multiple IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices) within a network, including protection relays, synchrophasors, event recording and remote telemetry units to enable accurate time stamping. The TCG 02-G is available as a base unit or with one of three expansion module options.
