The MEXA-ONE-FT Series simultaneously measures concentrations of multiple components, including NH3, N2O, CH4, CO and CO2, in undiluted exhaust gas using the Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) method in combination with a multivariate analysis algorithm. It incorporates HORIBA's proprietary compact interferometer which yields superior performance and high accuracy.The system complies with NH3 testing requirements of Euro VI, the EU regulation for heavy duty emissions testing.The MEXA-ONE-FT can be calibrated according to customer requirements with up to 6 component sets to cover a wide range of applications.FTIR spectroscopy allows the direct measurement of NO2 emissions and the independent quantification of individual hydrocarbon species. TSI's Engine Exhaust Particle Sizer (EEPS™) 3090 spectrometer uses an array of sensitive electrometers, combined with three proprietary data inversion matrices, to provide real-time particle size data in 32 size channels (16 channels per decade). The data inversion matrices allow the researcher to optimize size distribution accuracy for specific particle types (soot, default and compact), and matrices can be applied at the time of measurement or in a post-processing environment. The EEPS spectrometer does not include any built-in sample dilution, giving the user maximum flexibility and independence with respect to sample conditioning. However, for measuring solid particles from engines, TSI now offers the Porous Tube Thermodiluter (PTT) 3098, a fully integrated sample conditioning solution for the EEPS spectrometer; the pair of them together is the Engine Exhaust Particle Measurement System (EEPMS) 3095.

The VS-10a power supply is a light weight, portable, non-isolated “variable source” from 0 volts to 150 Vac or 0 volts to 150 Vdc and rated for up to 10 amps, thus the name VS-10a. It is comprised of an illuminated voltmeter that reads to the first significant digit, AC variable system output voltage, DC variable system output voltage, logic output voltage and one sense (continuity) contact monitoring points. Banana jacks for connection of test leads are spaced at intervals that allow the use of dual banana test plugs if desired. The VS-10a is protected by two levels of overcurrent protection; AC input, and ground fault protection by a GFCI. All circuitry is housed inside a custom designed case made from 16 gauge steel. An Internal fan dissipates heat buildup and exhaust through louvered side vents built into the case. The carrying handle is designed with a “spring return to rest” position and is padded for comfort. The case has been sized for optimum portability and is balanced from the handle during transportation. The case has a powder coated finish that is scratch, chemical and weather resistant. Rubber padded feet support the case when in the upright position and a convenience receptacle is located on the side of the case.

The ability to magnetically attach the VS-3 near the source of connection and eliminating the need for an extension cord makes the VS-3 a “must have tool” for technicians.
