PXI High Voltage Amplifiers
Pickering's PXI High Voltage Amplifiers are ideal for increasing the output voltage from other PXI modules, enabling users to easily generate the signal voltages commonly required in applications such as automotive test. Each amplifier can be independently programmed to a gain of 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20, enabling it to be used with modules with low output voltage capability. Inputs and outputs can be provided either on SMB connectors or on a D Type connector to suit the user’s wiring system.

This group of accelerometers is made up of the 3000 and 5000 Series. The 3000 Series are standard size units, including many with all welded construction, that are hermetically sealed for use in dirty and humid environments. The 5000 Series are smaller and lighter in weight than standard units. Characteristics are almost identical except that with miniature units higher natural frequencies and shock levels can be obtained due to their inherently reduced mass. Sensitivities, however are somewhat lower. High Temperature models are available that operate to +500°F. For best performance use with the Columbia Model 4601 Charge Amplifier or Model 5810 Inline Charge Converter.

Charge Integrator Amplifiers
AD8488
Analog Devices’ charge integrator amplifiers convert the charge acquired by X-ray or photodiode detectors to a voltage. The channels are composed of CMOS transistors, using typical high input impedance CMOS gates. The integrators generate charge dependent voltages using a range of selectable capacitance values that accommodate a broad range of input charge values. The integrators are followed by single-ended input to differential output voltage amplifiers where offset and low frequency noise voltages are subtracted from the input voltages.
