PMC to PCI Adapters
The PMC to PCI, PMC to CPCI and PMC to PC/104+ adapters enable the use of the PMC650 or PMC850 bus analyzers in PCI, CompactPCI and PC/104+ systems. The PMC analyzer plugs onto the adapter and then the mated adapter and analyzer plug into a PCI, CompactPCI or PC/104+ system. These passive adapters route the bus signals from the analyzer to the bus with minimal trace length and impedance matching. The adapters provide the full 64 bit interconnect between the analyzer and the bus.

Its small size and ability to interface through Ethernet interfaces make it a complete solution for developing, testing and performing system simulation of the ARINC-429 bus, both in the lab and in the field.The receive channels allow for the storage of all selected labels with status and time tag information appended to each word, and also allow for filtering and multi-storage modes of data words. The transmit channels operate via a transmit ‘instruction stack’ which allows scheduling of data transmissions and reduces the need for host computer intervention.
