The ELSD-LTII utilizes a high-efficiency LED and enhanced digital signal treatment to minimize noise and deliver optimum sensitivity for trace analysis. The high-performance optical detection system can also be used for combinatorial chemistry and high-throughput screening applications. The new Low Temperature Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD-LTII) is an easy-to-operate, universal detector that identifies analytes with uniform sensitivity regardless of their spectroscopic properties. It is not a spectroscopic detector. Instead, it removes the mobile phase through evaporation and then makes a light scattering measurement of the dried analyte particles.

The Keysight 10735A Three Axis Interferometer is used in multiple axis applications where linear and angular control of the stage is required. It combines in a single package the functionality of an optical bench with multiple beam benders, beam splitters, and three interferometers. The interferometers split an incoming laser beam into three beams to measure linear distance, pitch and yaw, or linear distance, roll and yaw. Three linear measurements provide the basis for calculating two angular measurements. The inherent beam parallelism ensures that there is essentially no cosine error between the three measurements and also ensures angle accuracy for pitch and yaw measurements. Mode-Conditioned Light Sources
Thorlabs' Mode-Conditioned Light Sources are fiber-coupled LED sources that have an output with a flat-top profile in the far field. Common applications include the testing of multimode fused fiber components as well as verification of modal behavior in fiber-based setups. Standard fiber-coupled LED sources can have a range of output profiles that are usually not uniform and vary from source to source. This can be dependent on emitter orientation, alignment with fiber tip, and connector assembly. These mode-conditioned sources have been engineered to distribute light evenly into all transverse modes, resulting in an equilibrium modal distribution at the output. The front panel includes an adjustment knob to control the power and an output port that accepts 2.2 mm wide-key FC/PC connectors. A DS15 15 V power supply with a location-specific plug is included with each device.
